Increase max guilds cap (currently 5)

With game evolving many players coming and going it would be rational to think about increasing old caps. I do realize it must be capped, but 5 seems very low to me given that most of the progressive guilds are oriented for divided aspects of the game, like PvP, PvE, Traid, Social etc.. Now for people who speak several language like me it makes things even more difficult while wishing to be also in national and international PvP or PvE or any other kind of guild. In any case it would be interesting to know community opinion on the subject.

Yes, it would be cool to have cap increased.

Must be capped to one. You have to be loyal to one country, one partner, one guild!

There are enough guilds for me. More guilds would mean less involvement in each of them, and more supermarket behavior. I dont need that.

I'd also like to see the selling cap increased too. Lots of times I have so much to sell, but 150 slots seems to run out quickly.

I think that the more guilds you are in, the less likely you are to be 'active' in all of them. That is fine if you are just in guilds for extra bank storage but the guilds I have been in lately want people to be active - contributing, trading, running dungeons/trials, etc.

There are a lot of guilds out there with 'dead' populations and nothing in their guild store, no interest in getting traders or trying to stay alive - they just limp along because nobody can be bothered. They end up serving no purpose other than bank slots for any remaining members.

I think ZOS could look at something to encourage these guilds to get moving again, even if is a very small weekly 'guild registration fee' or something. That way if a guild stagnates and their gold dries up, they can disband it, possibly putting all guild possessions in the guild masters account.

I do say a very small fee, just enough to deplete the guilds gold reserves over a reasonable amount of time without it being a big hit for those who are active.

From what you say I understand you are still struggling with bag space limit. Well they gave a solution for that, only you have to pay for it monthly

Guild slot is much more important for progressive players than guild bank. You need at least 10 people to keep bank of 500 slots. That means each player gets 50 slots max. You must be a real pleb to waste one slot for that. But if it makes people feel good then I have no problem with it. Even now a guy who is focusing on his bag space can have 5 guilds with plebs like him to share the bank. Just be careful, someone can smug your stuff.

I already subscribe and yet still have problems with storage. A craft bag and 480 bank slots is not enough for one man and 12 characters!!!

I have never used a guild bank for personal storage, in fact I am in 4 guilds and very rarely deposit anything other than gold into the guild bank. Whenever I access the guild banks they are usually full to the brim, mostly with stuff that I have no use for. I could not remember the last time I took anything out of any of my guild banks.

My interest in guilds these days is for trader access - I'll happily sell stuff and donate gold while my goods are churning.

I have a lot of respect for my main guild, the guild master does a fantastic job and it will probably be the last guild I ever leave.

The reason I am in multiple guilds is that 30 trading slots is not enough, some stock takes a while to move while some stuff sells quickly. I'd rather be in 3 or 4 guilds which I only need to go into once or twice a week to restock than one that I have to 'top up' every day.

Allow me to have 100 slots in one guild and I'll happy be a one guild person - and they would get a bigger donation every week!

it wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to be in trading guilds just to make gold effectively.

as for loyalty to a single guild.. that would make sense if you were limited to a single faction. but as every single guild is a multi-faction guild by default? that cat's out of the bag and has been since the start.

I think if someone would prefer to stick to a single guild? they can and they should. what they can't and shouldn't do is decide for the rest of us how many guilds we can feasibly be active in.

I used to want an increased guild cap a while back, but now I actually like the cap. I've been in around 40-50 guilds or so, and settling down in 5 was actually pretty easy. I have seen guilds fade and crumble, and I have seen guilds grow to the maximum. You need a good core within the guild for it to last, and that is no easy task over several months. You may join a guild and have loads of fun for 2-3 months, but then the guild just vanishes. I find it better to have what some see as few guild slots.

I honestly don't know how I feel about increasing the 5 Guilds limit.

While I think it would be nice to have another guild or two...

I think it would be difficult for me to maintain the same level of sales in an increasing amount of trade guilds.

That being said! I don't have enough room for all my trade guilds and a decent Trials guild.
