blood forged skin not as previewed

Just for clarification, the major problem is that the crown store showed a wrong preview.
The skin for blood forged did not match how it looked on the preview.
I had a vampire character and tried the skin on it and it showed a nice faded look. (Sadly I can not show it now because I can not preview it anymore) Maybe someone who have vampire and have not bought the skin can link a picture here.
Was thinking it would do as other tattoos etc and have the nice faded colour, but
when I put it on it looked like this as normal I guess:

yeah the preview is completely different if you have a vampire - it does not change the look much. However unlike you, I actually wanted to not look like a vampire, so the skin has worked perfectly for me

Everyone else be warned though, it will remove the vampire look completely.

That's how it originally was on your character. Not just preview.

Ive never had this issue, i am on PS4 though. Maybe thats the differential.

The preview function is for the purpose of seeing how a crown store item will look on your character prior to you purchasing it. If the preview look is completely different from its actual look once purchased and used then that is a ZOS error and a player should be able to get his or her crowns back for purchasing it. This problem has happened in the past with several items not looking like the preview once purchased or dyes not showing up on the item correctly. This particular skins preview on a Vampire is a good example of the error and ZOS should be correcting it. I fell victim to the same look with my Vampire and am now stuck with the skin. In addition, their is too much red glow around the eyes.

I've raised a thread on this already. Customer support made me post in the bug forum section too.

The thing is there were a million threads on here a about people wanting to hide Vamp and ZOS have acted so skins overlay it. Which is fine I guess. But the issue is the Preview doesn't match what you get.

And in this instance the beauty of the skin is all hidden by your armour so all you get is a jet black face and it looks utterly stupid.

If I recall on the ebony skin the issue was the preview looked complete, I.e. How a non vamp would look, but in reality you had the vampy skin look.

So it seems they 'fixed' it.

ZOS could just give 2 versions of any skin when you purchase, one thats stacks with vampire skin (to match with a preview so many of us see) and one that doesn't. At least one could hope.
