So time and time again zos is adding new features to cater to the new players. While simultaneously cracking the flaming whip of carelessness on its loyal long term players. There is very little in regards to replayable content for end game players that is actually rewarding and enticing. I'm one of those players who has played since launch 4 hours min a day and by now I have achieved everything in the game there is to achieve. I have very little need to redo ALL the dungeons and trials more than a few times each patch, pvp is never changing and getting duller by the day, and battlegrounds....... well battlegrounds isn't nearly rewarding enough to dedicate hours of spending time waiting for a que to finally pop. I spend more time queuing for the match than I spend inside the match.

So this is my solution and proposition. Reward your players who have no life and play this game as if it WERE the ONLY THING THEY WANT TO DO.

Step 1 implement a daily achievement list that offers EXTRA gold, rare material, ap, undaunted keys ETC. if you do a certain amount of dungeons or you complete a certain amount of pvp quests or you go do a certain amount of faction quests. If you do that then you earn the daily reward in addition to the rewards you get upon completion of each quest.

Step2 add a weekly and monthly list as well. This would reward players who get on every day and who want to dedicate time to go do all the content every day. And rewards should scale appropriately higher for each tier you achieve. If you achieve your weekly reward chest and your monthly reward chest then you have to wait until the next week or month to earn it again. Add little mini quests to go do. If the rewards dropped from these quests were rarer items such as purple materials and gold materials for the higher tier it would incentivize players to go experience everything the game has to offer every day. Doing this will create something to work for every day.

Next they need to remove this super amped up level catch up method. I have worked for 2 years to get to the champ level I am and to see some new players come in and able to get to max cp in a month is terrible. Let them get the catch up bonus exp to the gear cap and from then on let them earn champ points at the same rate as we do. I am lucky to get 1-3 champ points a day it's a huge chore to farm my champ points at a decent rate.

Next they should give some sort of extra rank icon for those players who have played for a certain amount of time. This rank icon doesn't have to do anything but it would mark each toon based on how old they are and show old and new players alike how dedicated to the game that player is. While this is a small thing I think that this would give a nod to the players who have dedicated themselves to the game.

This next one I think would be more of a reward to those who spend a lot of money on the game. But I think that after you spend a certain amount of money on crowns they could give you the option to choose a free pet or costume or even a mount if you spend enough. Show appreciation to the players who spend hundreds of dollars to buy the things that you worked hard to put in the game.

There needs to be something to keep us old players here in the game because as it is the game is getting old and boring and with no real content to truly keep us interested and motivated to excell. As it stands now I could take a 2years off the game and still be max cp level at the rate they are increasing the cap.

Feel free to comment any other aspects of the game that would be fun or interesting enough to keep you playing for months and years to come

Everyone has different interests. While I enjoy the replayable end game content, what I enjoy is clearly different than what OP enjoys.

Considering OPs theme seems to be he gets board with new things pretty fast I don't think there is anything Zos can do within reason that would keep the interest of someone who gets disinterested so easily.

Well the new things they put into the game have very little replay value. You farm the achievements in battlegrounds you farm the gear you need. Then what have you got left to do? I'm simply asking for filler content that is both rewarding and engaging. Right now it's pretty black and white. You either go kill eachother in pvp or you go kill monsters in dungeons. More world boss events would be more interesting if they were treated more like trial bosses something that requires the majority of the zone to complete. Like defend this point until the timer ends and then the boss does this but if you fail to protect the point then the boss either kills you all or runs away before you can get it in kill phase.

Did you not enjoy playing the game itself? It is impossible to keep pace ahead of the people that play the game daily. You are always going to run into a wall with content if you play a game enough.

While I agree, there could be a few more perks, this is the statement that stood out to me the most:

'Reward your players who have no life and play this game as if it WERE the ONLY THING THEY WANT TO DO.'

I'm thinking of the WD scene with Negan and Olivia when she talks about people starving in Alexandria...I have the same expression as Negan right now:

    'Really?'

Playing ESO should just be part of your life, not the total sum of everything.

For me ESO is one of the few games I genuinely enjoy playing just to play.

In other games I have nearly always played to meet some goal, usually associated with gearing up for some level of content or other.

In ESO I log in to "play" - literally. Some days I mess about in my houses, some days I spend 3 -4 hours doing nothing but farming landscape materials, some day I I chase Dolmens, some days I do crafting. some days I head off and explore somewhere I haven't been for a few years. None of it feels like a chore. It all feels like "play".

Honestly, it doesn't sound like you actually like playing the game. If your enjoyment ends at getting some gear and a few achievements.

You pretty much stand alone with your thoughts on this.

Also, the odds that you actually have the achievemts is slim. Unless your an incredibly talented player that the top raid teams bring you on when new content comes out. vHoF has a boat load of achievements from normal, vet and vet HM as well as speed runs and more.

Few guilds have the speed run.

Basically, most the play MMOs do it because they like the MMO and they like who they play with. That's the reward.

I think that's the difference here. I like playing the game and the groups I play with. The achievements and gear are secondary.

Edit: it really seems, from the recent posts here, that it's the theme of responses. Players find something about the game they enjoy. Of course, some may not.

While all of you have valid points sure I don't have every single achievement but I have earned all the achievements that are of any interest to me. And yes some of the things I mentioned like reward the players who play as if they had no life it was meant more as a footnote that you should reward the players who actually do play as hard as they do. For a causal gamer it might seem unfair but for the devoted player sometimes even just being recognized as a devoted fan of the game is a reward in itself. I want some more filler content that will encourage players to play together like giant world events. Or guild events, and milsteone achievements to help take the edge off of grinding. If you get some rewards for farming it does make it seem less like a chore and a bit more enjoyable.

I agree. I need more of a reward for locking my kid in the closet 8 hours a day, and putting up with his screaming to get out. You know how loud I have to turn up eso so I can't hear him? It is really inconvenient.
