Question about stamina-draining poisons and blocking

Since Orsinium launch it became impossible to regen stamina while blocking (at least I think it was around that time/update). At the moment there´re a few poisons that gives you stamina when being applied to another player. My question is if that stamina regen from the poison will be give me stamina while I block, or will it simply not give me stamina back since stamina regen is disabled while I block??

✭✭Only regen is disabled by block and regen is only that number you have on character sheet. Everything else not included there is not disabled.
