Nice and smug "I don't care so why do others care" post.
For stam DKs, yes, a vMA 2hander was pretty meta.
For a PvPer, grinding those weapons was a pretty tedious chore - even though I think I improved doing so.

So now that these weapons are just a one-ability boost, and you're pigeonholed into using that ability if you want to use your hard-earned vMA weapons (which boils down to actually ditching them, let's face it), I for one think it's legit to express some disappointment - and I'm no QQer.
I for one think that the gap between the effort to obtain those weapons and the actual bonus they give is, just, well, oceanic and unfair.
I've never run VMA weapons in pvp.
is it a gimp? yeah probably in the strictly competitive sense.
but i can go into pvp day in and day out and go up against known seasoned guilds and come out on top or provide serious competition. VMA weapons dont make or break a build.
I run: 5 hundings, 2 shacklebreaker, 3 agility, 1 velidreth
I never ran proc sets. I never ran VMA. and i can still get 5337 weapon dmg with my weapon dmg enchant procced and a 28k dragon leap tool tip in cyro.
Disclaimer: this is a stamina dragonknight perspective
so with that being said, relax, and think outside of the box
Like even though I use them, it's fine. I'll just change my build. It's an MMO. This happens. It's whatever. I'm not really concerned about it. Yeh, it goes less option and kills some build diversity and options, but it is what it is. I play PvP and Pve almost equally, so I'm not even mad about "wasting time". It was a challenge and although frustrating, I was glad when I did it. It reminded me of an old school super hard boss in single player games as kid. It was a frustrating but also fun challenge.
All I've done is try to illustrate and make people understand why it was a nerf. Because a lot of people think it isn't or it's even a buff. The master bow is, I'll give you that. And some vma probably are in Pve. But in PvP, vma weapons are 100% nerfed and useless next patch.
If you don't see people running vma 2H in pvp much then you either don't know what you're looking for or you don't fight any players good enough to have acquired one. And no sharp isn't best anymore. It was for a long time. But currently nirnhoned performs much better. It boosts your heals and the little amount of pen sharp provides is easily made up for with cp. All I see in your post is an forum warrior pve player who probably spent a ton of time zerg surfing.
Go ahead and enlighten me though, what should I make of the hours spent farming vma or that I now have on less reason to play this game?

This game is not all about PvP. Get over it.
lol "Can we take PVP'ers seriously anymore?" what a joke...
The Asylum weapons are easier to obtain now that there is a normal mode version and a veteran mode version.
i just hate they are called Asylum. . . makes me think of Batman. can we call them Clockwork weapons?

It's nothing to do with out classing. Yeh, gear and stuff matters, but PvP ultimately is about skill.
This is about build diversity. Vma weapons will be flat out pointless next patch. I'm never a fan of making any gear completely useless.

There would be no posts without them.
