    It was needed just 2 months ago. I don't think they reduced the damage but made the proc a dot. Was strong for PvP before and since the damage itself wasn't nerfed I don't see the need to buff it.

    it was nerfed on purpose and by overwhelming outcry of everyone and with good reason.

    You mean "Viper’s Sting: Fixed an issue where the damage from this Item Set’s proc could be blocked."? Or have I overlooked something?

    (5 items) When you deal damage with an Execute ability you infect the enemy, dealing 8428 Poison Damage over 6 seconds. The effect can occur once every 6 seconds.

    instead, more damage (my tooltip is like 11+k, so 5.5+k in PvP over time), and can be used at range with the Bow via the Poison Injection execute ability.

    It's a great set for a 2H/Bow stam build, it works with the Bow via the Poison Injection execute ability and any other Execute ability, like 2H Reverse Slash (and it's Morphs- Executioner or Reverse Slice). It also works with Dual Wields Whirlwind (and it's Morph's like Steel Tornado or Whirling Blades) and the Nightblades Killers Blade Execute class skill..

    (Note- I did not test the Templars execute ability Radiant destruction to see if it works with it but, why would you it's a Magical ability and Stamina set ???)

    It is a Awesome set.

    BTW- I don't have this set on my Nightblade, even though I did test it on a Nightblade before moving it to my other character, this set is on my Poison-Knight Stam DK Argonian along with the Morag Tong set.
