just a wee heads up for future forum posts.

I suppose you can say Infused weapons got nerfed because the Maelstrom effect will no longer be buffed, but this is fine as an infused other enchant should be stronger overall.
Well that is actually a buff. For example if you put weapon damage enchant on an infused vMA bow or staff the resulting gained damage will be higher than the old static value. Not only that but it will carry to your front bar too.
So they nerfed them to drop in normal mode....
What item sets will they be part of? The ones from VMA/d star. If so, they're utterly useless.
Are you *** kidding me? No bonus damage stat? There is now zero reason to even bother.
I think a lot of people posting in this thread are PVE players not realizing this is a nerf to the benefit of using VMA staves in PVP over 5 piece sets.
You know, the staves people grinded hundreds of hours to get?

I'm curious though how a vMA staff was ever any better than a random staff with an increase dmg glyph. That's where my confusion is, anyway.

Why would you do that over a 5 piece in PVP
Well I've actually seen some people run wall of elements in Cyrodiil

There wasn't any reason to run Maelstrom in PvP even now, except maybe charged ice for the CC. Two 5p sets and a monster head or 5/4 combo front/back bar and a 2p monster set was much better. Do you actually realize that the Master destro now becomes a viable option? In fact people use the skill all the time in PvP and the fact you can now also enchant it makes it quite strong. In fact on certain builds running Master inferno front, Maelstrom resto back with 2 5p sets will probably be FotM.

Exactly. The wpn damage glyph is also a proc. I hate relying on proc damage. There's just no point in vma 2H now. Well at least I can stop busting my ass to get one.

You now get the old item effect PLUS you can apply a regular enchantment (like weapon damage).
