Vma last boss still confusing.

I have completed Vma a few times now, but still have some problems with the last boss.

Now the first two stages i can handle most of the time, it goes wrong after i finished destroying the crystals, you got knock backed to the first floor and the boss ports back and start channeling the skull swirl (the attack what need to be interupted) i grab the defense sigil, drop aoe on the boss and trying to collect the 3 gold ghosts, after grabbing the ghosts the crematorial guard spawns and i can use the synergy but that moment the boss does what looks like the skull swirl again before i can use the synergry not sure the last time i tried i was killed by necrotic stab, i guess i have to interupt the boss again BUT on a video i saw from Alcast after he grabbed the 3 ghost the boss did his skull attack, and yesterday after grabbing 3 ghost i could activate the synergy and no attack from the boss and also no crematorial guard (maybe i was fast enough?)

And if you miss a gold ghost it seems you are doomed, not sure what the boss is casting then but the crematorial guard seems unkillable. And after the 3 ghost synergy if you not enable to kill the boss will that stage reset and start over in the same sequence?

When you come down from the top grab the shield sigil but DO NOT bash boss, let him do the channel, it'll all reflect back on him for free DPS as you go get other sigils (if you want) and collect the first ghost.

If your DPS is good enough you can now pound on the boss while collecting ghosts and ignore the summoner.

Block or dodgeroll any skulls thrown your way and continue to DPS and collect gold ghosts. You ought to be able to use the ghost synergy right after the Crem Guard pops, drop a good ulti on the boss and burn burn burn.

If your DPS is not high enough for that, same idea but slower as you have to take care of the summoner and Crem Guard, then return to DPS on the boss.

If you can't burn him during the stun, it's basically just rinse and repeat the last phase.

grab defense sigil as soon as you come back down. let boss kill himself. collect 3 ghosts cause it seems like you arent able to burst him before crem guard spawns.

and before you synergize the 3 ghosts, check what the boss is doing. if hes charging his skull heavy attack, thats gonna interrupt you and youre gonna get fried by the crem guard

Heaps of ways to do this.

I've lasted 11 Cgs just for the absolute lols in training gear. But that said it does take a *** load of timing practise you can alarmist get two gold ghosts and just run around eh arena looking for the last gold ensuring you get it only issue with this is you must use the explosion as soon as you obtain as he will begin to channel.

I have different ways then the two who commented above but it really depends where you struggle and what sigils you can afford to keep till last phase

I'm new to completing this phase, but have now run through it a few times. The same thing happens to me I can get the crystals down no problem. My first 3 times through I dps the boss down no prob. Grabbed the defense sigil, ghosts, stun, burn. But the issue is sometimes things just go wrong. My most recent run through I died in that phase like 30 times after dying no more than 5 times in the first three runs. It's just more practice I assume. The ghosts won't always spawn in the most ideal places. The speed sigil helps a lot too. But don't waste too much time snapping up sigils. Get the defense one and focus on stun and dps burn. Grab others if you pass by them. The damage sigil can really help the burn phase. I save the healing sigil for a last ditch effort if everything else fails, or I can't burn the boss down in one stun.

This is how I do it:
1) Start with the boss in the middle, DPS him a bit and block his first channeled attack (skull);
2) Go after him after he teleports, bash, put your AoE down, wait for Crematorial to spawn, throw ult him and boss, hopefully you can also draw the healer in to fully clear the coast.
3) Once the boss teleports to middle and start climbing go to the lighted teleporter and kill the spectral clannfear to teleport up
4) Once up buff and drop your DoTs on the first crystal going counterclockwise, block his skull then as the wall spawns start moving to the next crystal in the same, dropping DoTs on it already as you move behind the wall even if the first isn't destroyed yet; move with the wall backwards as you continue DPS
5) After the wall is gone keep moving counterclockwise and attack the 3rd crystal while the wall spawns; execute it and shield behind the wall for the explosion; hopefully the other 2 will be destroyed already or in execute range so you can finish them off quickly, before the 3rd wall spawn
6) Once all 3 are destroyed the boss will blow you down and teleport down also. Grab the defence sigil and let him do the channeled attacks as they will be reflected back. Put DoTs on the boss, go for the first ghost and kill the healer (if present) and summoner (always spawns on an edge);
7) Grab the 2nd and 3rd ghosts and optionally the damage sigil, wait for the boss to settle down and the crematorial guard to spawn on him, drop your DoTs on both, drop ult use the synergy to stun them. Execute boss - crematorial will die from AoE anyway while they are stunned.

Note that 2 is skippable if your initial burst is high enough and you can send the boss up without the crematorial spawning. Not sure if healer spawn is avoidable as well but if it spawns kill it before going up because it can still hit you with DoTs while you are up. Also, when you are blown down after 3rd crystal it stays alive, as the blast only kills the crematorial. Smaller mobs are good for building up ult since they are daedra so kill them.
