Hello!
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the TESO: Morrowind Upgrade in Humble Bundle is a Steam version Key or for the original base game.
Because I have the original TESO version before it went on Steam and I would like to buy it since it's (presently: 25 Mai 2017 ) 38$ vs 50$ here.

I need an answer to this too, because HB is having a sale of ESO Morrowind right now. Does HB give ESO key or Steam key? The description isn't very clear, and only says the base game of ESO is needed.

Since the Humble Bumble page for ESO Morrowind does not mention Steam in anyway shape or form why would you think they would sell a steam enabled Morrowind? There are Steam enabled games on that site, but those games are clearly denoted as Steam versions.

You want the Morrowind Chapter to work with your Steam ESO, then you better buy it from Steam. If your not worried about Steam then buy it from anywhere that is not Steam.

Here are the 15 Steam Edition games they list as for Steam

Morrowind and ESO is not on the list.

That's because I didn't know what the hell that "key" symbol meant, and feared it was another one of Steam icons. When in doubt, just ask.
