Any (other) shields with enchants that are not max stat?

Hey all,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any shields that can be acquired with a glyph/enchant that is NOT max hp/stamina/magicka. The only one I ever remember seeing was the Grievous Ward from Lord Warden in ICP (hp recovery though, eww).

I like to avoid primary resource values bouncing around on bar-swap (OCD I know, but I find it distracting). Are there any other shields out there?

As far as armor glyphs you can apply, there are only those 3.

The Grievous Ward used to be part of three piece Endurance set so that explains the Health Regen. You might find an Agility or Willpower shield, those come with Stam or Magic Regen respectively. I really don't think your going to find anything else as part of a 5 piece as those were special items for 3 certain 3 piece sets. Odd that once it became part of the Leeching Ward set it retained it's health regen glyph, because it is no longer part of a set that regens health, in a direct manner anyway.

Maybe because its a unique item it has the off enchant. Your more than welcome to research all the shields in this list to see, but most of the ones I looked at, if the enchant was listed, was a normal armor enchant

When One Tamriel dropped, all the items that were uniques in the game became parts of 5 piece dropped sets, so is it possible one of those got a weird enchant? Maybe. However, your at the mercy of using the set that it drops with. So if another one exists besides the 3 that offer stat regen, you have to hope it works with your build.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

There are only 3 Armor Glyphs, Magic, Stamina or Health.

So, no there are no other shields out there that will not change values on a bar swap to a non shield load out. Unless you make the shield and don't apply a glyph, which is a questionable strategy, OCD or not.

Are you certain there are no others? Since the Grievous Ward is an exception I'm holding on to hope that someone knows of others.

Not seen any other unique shields apart from that one without a max stat or tri stat glyph.

Since shield is classed as armour they can only accept a stam/mag/hp/tri stat, which really annows me too if playing 2h/1hs.

I used to run a Shield and Sword on my MagDK on the back bar, and a Resto staff on the front bar. I put a Health Enchant on the shield even though I otherwise had Magic Glyphs on everything else. I even ran a 2/3/4 piece Torugs Pact to go with the 5 piece Julianos. The number of pieces changed depending on the Monster set, if I was using that.

My reasoning for this was if I was on my one hand shield bar, I was all up in the bosses grill trying to be tanky and welcomed the boost to health from the shield and the set bonus boost to health and possibly resistance.

Because, swapping from a staff or other single weapon to one hand and shield, your going to have more than the glyph affecting your stats, your also going to have that 3rd or 4th Set Bonus, whatever it maybe, changing things too.

Yeah that would work fine in that scenario. HP pool fluctuation is the most dangerous for me though in PvP...

Long ago I ran a loadout that caused my health pool to change by almost 4k on bar swap. I thought it would be good for the added HP tankiness and would gain more benefit from Undeath on that bar. To my horror, more than once I executed myself simply by bar swapping with a Mage's Fury on me. I swore to never run a build with differing HP pools again, that risk isn't worth it.
