So I've always run some oddball builds, and I'm fine not being the strongest out there. I'd basically to take a few key parameters and make the best build I can with them:
1. Sorc Tank build.
2. All attributes into Magicka so I can easily switch to DPS/Healer builds.
3. 5-piece crafted set for looks. (At least until they come out with an Outlaw set costume.) Other gear can be non-crafted.

Before I left, I had a surprisingly effective build. Between always being at the resistance cap and having Undeath and Hardened Ward to fall back on, I could withstand all kinds of damage. I used Law of Julianos, Willpower, and a bit of Magnus to do some decent damage/healing as well. All my resistance came from armor. It was very enjoyable for soloing, and a really handy casual vet dungeon build as well.

These days though, I feel a lot squishier. I'm always around 4-5k resistance short of the cap, and my health seems lower as well. Can anyone bring me up to speed on what's changed?

EDIT: Come to think of it, I'm already making so many concessions on looks, I might as well just use the Warden's costume until an Outlaw costume comes out. So maybe I'll just go for any kind of strong magicka tank build.

They upped the stamina ticks on blocking and nerfed the Defending trait and Nirnhoned sheilds specifically. They buffed all base Health, Mag and Stamina on sets though.

Well my mag templar tank/healer uses 5 Akiviri Dragongaurd, 5 Spectre's eye, 2 Shadowrend... I am Breton so I have bonus mag resist. Hence, the Spectre's eye for Physical resistance the 5 piece is fine but not required. It is clearly not for soloing though. Perhaps replace Dragongaurd with something less supportive but still has a health and mag regen bonus maybe? I have had 5 Kragenacs hope, 4 Spectres eye, 3 Healthy Willpower suggested as a build.

Hmm I am always thinking about trying a Sorc Healer, I haven't played Sorc yet and healer is the only role I haven't played, I had to commit harder to being a tank, pushed some attributes into hp.
