Defiler Hunger pet needs to be upped to like 10-20 seconds.

Completely useless as is. 5 seconds isn't enough time for it to scratch its ass or even realize it exists, let alone actually do something.

    lol I've seen it a few times in pug dungeons, certainly surprised me it's appearance.

    Many times, I saw the ugly pet just die before run to the boss. ZOS, u design a trash gear set, totally trash.

    The only upside I can really see about it is, unlike the other proc pets, you can repent the Hunger if you're quick.

    In single target fights, it works "as intended". But in AOE fights, it is very disappointing.

    Maybe if they update it with the Maw of Infernal AI code and increase the duration - but not by much. An AoE stun sounds quite strong. In theory. The implementation was not very well done, but IIRC it took a nerf before it hit live.

    Yeah I'm still going to use it because it fits with the character I use it on. But it'd be nice if it could actually get something done. It's like Boethiah grants you her lazy and unmotivated Hunger that tries to help, but just passes out before it can actually do anything.

    Yep. Stopped running this set for this same reason. Would be nice if they could improve it a bit.

    Good news! PTS notes mention spawn logic has changed!

    Will now spawn directly next to the enemy you crit on, as opposed to next to you...you know, before it wastes its life time...taking a second to figure out what it is doing...chasing after the enemy it spawned next to (which probably moved in that second)...then waiting for a second or two once it catches up to enemy to attack...only to die right as animation starts...

    Seriously though, would be great if this set gets a bit better with this change. Thank you ZOS!

    hopefully, it will be facing the right direction and actually do some damage.

    it'll probably turn around and run off, even so. :smiley:
