Psn needs to be hidden.

Why won’t they let us hide this? I know they let us choose what we prefer to see, but why won’t they let us choose what we want to have seen? Multiple times today I have seen players blacklisted based off of their psn and it isn’t fair. A player that was told they were a bad tank was kicked on another toon they healed on for the fact thag they were a bad tank in an instance. I ran with this person before and they were an amazing healer. Was it fair they were kicked based off a previous experience? The person that voted to kick chastised them in chat then was promptly kicked after for being a jerk but whatever.

Why can’t we have some sense of privacy? Why can’t our toons be unique? I know of at least 20 or so people in my guild that let a spouse have a toon on their account. Should their play be judged by their spouses by random groups? Just horrible. They need to implement a true hide psn option for this game, does anyone agree? And why won’t they allow this already?

I don't really understand why you would hide your account name. If you're being kicked or someone is doing rude things to you because you didn't do your best as a tank/healer/dd, but you do great at one of the other things and they don't want to aknowledge that, then it's not your problem. You deserve better so don't waste your time on them. Let aholes associate with aholes.

2017, privacy is a illusion
To be fair, it wouldnt help either way trolls would remember your psn/charater name or what ever they see, so it wouldnt really help. Id suggest, block the troll and move on, use your guild or guilds not group finder (use it as a last resort).

We can't hide this and should not hide it for the reason that sometimes you need to block/ignore a person's whole account. This is specifically used against cyber-stalking and harassment.

The actual problem you are seeing is that one person remembers another's account name and decides to not group with that person by kicking them when if they were the group leader they could have just not invited them and could have put them on ignore which filters them out of groups they are in.
That person could also have left on their own instead of kicking the other. They chose to go the bad route and paid the price when you kicked them out.

So, turnabout is fair play. If you get the jerk in your group again, kick them out and say it was because they were likely to self-destruct the group kicking whoever they had a grudge against. Or better yet, put that person on ignore and they should be filtered out of your groups anyway(hopefully if ZOS did this right).
