• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 13

After so many nerfs, the time has come to nerf the game price.

Many old players leaving, not many new players coming.

Realize that only 1 out of tens of players you see in starting locations will be a dedicated player who will later join vMoL or vHoF trials.

For every old player going we need at least 30 new players just to keep end game with healthy population.

It's becoming very difficult to find trial groups (and vet pledges).

Old player or streamer moving to another game causes a chain reaction. Like when ESO player enters Deltia's blog and reads about another game, it's like he already making a step in that direction.

Time to think about new generation of players.

Most new players and people i know only play ESO as a single player game. They hate the elitist control over group content. So as time goes on less people will be doing that content. Its the game developers fault for making group content less about fun and more about special loot. This trend needs to end in mmo's. Go to other game sites and you will see how people hate how they always get kicked from groups because someone said their gear or dps sucked. These people will never come back and try this content. They will trash the elitism on other game sites.

Well coming from online FPS games I've never seen such a huge gap between casual and slightly dedicated players.

It's easy to meet cp660 DD running with 35k hp in ESO dealing 4k dps if you join random vet dungeon. Can you compare a guy like this to a guy who just googled and copy\paste his build? Or guy who knows how to animation cancel?

Every update, every nerf only enlarges this gap, making serious players called "elitists" only because they refuse to tank mazzatun with 2 dds cp160

How do you check other players gear?
Only way to get kicked because of dps is LA only, that is outside the hardest veteran dungeons like the dlc ones.
Not getting mechanics so group get multiple wipes is an more common reason for kicking.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Don't we get free weeks/weekends and sales quite often now?

The base game is pretty easy to pick up at a good price now from store retailers and ZOS sales. I know some end game players leaving but most of the time it seems more from burnout and they come back (even Deltia still plays).

If they could lower the price of the Morrowind Expansion Chapter DLC Addon to €20 or less, or present another way to get the Warden class, with crowns for example, I might play this game more often again.

Until then, feel free to send your stuff to me on PC EU ^.=.^

Didn't Morrowind get a sale already?

I can imagine them slashing prices quite a bit next year for the anniversary. Although I would love for Battlegrounds to be sold as a stand alone module via the Crown Store as well to get more people into it without bundling it with the expansion.

I played the closed and open beta and through most of the sub period of the games life and played on and off up till now when i picked it up again and have never done a trial, tbh I have never seen or even know he names of them.
Pvp is probably the end game for most people since its more open.
There isn't an insane cp requirement or required prequisits to playing. You join type lfg and follow the leader around.

@iiYuki normal trials don't require any crazy CP investment, people have just become very snobbish in PvE in regards to what's required. You should be able to find trials with ease via a casual PvE guild.

Trials are not a great LFG thing because of the need for specific compositions and knowledge of mechanics. If you're on PC EU I could probably introduce you to some people to help you try the trials on normal.

Gosh! How can anyone refute those dead on completely reliable facts??

    ZOS better act fast!

There is a lot more to this incredible game than vTrials.

I was on about in pvp as regards to asking for lfg I would agree that lfg would probably be a bad thing for trials I imagine they're harder than dungeons / veteran dungeons and I know how well they tend to go with randoms not listening. Unless they went for lfg like they did in wow but tbh that ruined raiding for me.

Its funny, these theads appear every time they announce a new dlc. The game is still alive, though, and the sky isnt falling.
