lemme pre face this by saying I know this was to help deal with the proc meta in PvP and that's good.

the fact that nearly every good monster proc set for stam has a firing delay on it now is SOOOO annoying, its like your lagging all the time, you finish a fight then spores go rolling off into the distance, or a spectral bear tries to attack the air, though one of my favorites is the graboid coming out of the ground for no reason, like its after me or something.

when I saw this change I figured "okay so players can dodge it but because PvE mobs don't really move it should not be a problem, right?"

WRONG!

its so annoying to see these things firing off after the fact, and you don't realize how much you move until fighting a few battles and watching as you turn and see a proc go shooting aimlessly into the distance.

I have currently swapped out all my monster sets for more defensive ones or sets that don't have an annoying delay :C

I would much prefer a viper solution where they fire off satisfyingly instantly but deliver there damage via a dot, you can even nerf the damage for all I care. there just so unsatisfying to have on a delay, as I said its akin to lagging all the time and is just very much not fun.

though obviously neither was the proc meta in pvp and obviously nobody wants to see that return. :P

In this case you'll just have to adapt. Personally? I like it. brings a little bit more relevance to player positioning/rotation(char model).

Idk Velidreth is more effective that ever in vMA since you can see when its going to proc and can position yourself accordingly. I don't use proc sets in PvP since I have no need for them.

Think of the visual cue as a cue for yourself too. When you see it, position yourself in a way that your opponent can't get out of it. If anything proc sets now kinda add on to skillful gameplay. If you see that your Selene is going to proc CC the guy so he eats it. If Veli is gonna proc place your self in a way that one of the 3 spores will hit (aka real close to the target and try to anticipate his movement).

That and with velidreth, if you're familiar with the angle at which the other 2 spores pop, you can try to hit other adds with those ones as well.

Working as they should tbh. Shouldn't have to rely on a crutch of a proc chance to kill anything. I think this is a learn to play issue for sure.

Wait, youre made about the highest hitting single target monster sets (might be wrong about veli? But i know the bear one is the highest) getting a delay? Like...a chance to be able to see it comming and dodge/ block the proc. You dont like that.

May i introduce you to every magic heavy hitting direct damage procset...they have delays, and have had delays since they were introduced. And ironically they still have longer delays than the bear, deal less damage (oh but their AOE....BIG WOOP) AND BEAR PROCSET still has a lower cooldown!!!. skoria? Makes a loud ass sound, hear the sound, block! Or since that damage is still pretty darn weak just let it hit you. Although you cant dodge skoria i dont believe...so theres that.

What about nerieneth? Suckers got a MASSIVE delay. Rediculously small area, and only procs on direct damage you could walk out of it with no blocking or dodgeing and not get hit its so slow...it deals the same damage of skoria, but is stronger AOE.

Anyway...not trying to be rude here, but direct damage procsets should not be instant. They should be delayed. Just like DOT procsets, whether AoE or singletarget are mostly instant and should be.

Stamina is incredibly strong right now, dont get me wrong im not complaining about stamina being strong, but stamina does not need ANY buffs. If anytjing magick specs need a slight buff...maybe save magic sorc.
