OP, I personally like bosmer. Stam regen, can't get defiled from the disease secondary effect (note you can be from all other sources), and extra sneak dmg/smaller radius.8 -

✭✭✭✭✭BosmerFor pure ganking, you are going to want the sneak bonus from either khajitt or Bosmer. A Bosmer will have more base damage with the extra 6% stamina. A Khajiit will crit more, but since everyone runs Impen, I prefer the extra flat damage. If you use shadowy disguise a lot (guarantees crit strike on next attack), khajiits bonus becomes even less powerful.
Arguments for Redguard or Imperial become much stronger if you want to factor in the part where you gank someone, fail, and actually have to fight them. Haha7 -

I prefer Bosmer for the stam regen and max stam. It offers the most damage for a pure gank build. You'll be attacking from stealth with Shadowy Disguise, so the Khajiit's crit chance isn't all that beneficial.

I honestly dont believe that to be true any longer. It was for a time in a near perfect raid enviorment. I just switched my stam DK from khajiit to redguard, and I am pulling a touch more damage. Its not a lot, but its more. Sustain is not that much of an issue on a stam DK, but it is certainly better on redguard.

Assuming you are getting a guaranteed crit from stealth, they have more base damage than either Bosmer or Khajiit. Their resource management is second only to Bosmers, and they do the most base damage (tied with imperial). If you are still stacking proc sets, again, Redguard will give more damage as they dont crit. You might very well be correct that on NBs, khajiit still wins on paper. I think the last math I saw from Jekll had Khajiit about 0.3% ahead of redguard with perfect warhorn up time. That said, the sustain from redguard is vastly superior, so I still think they ultimately make the better DPS. I used DK as an example for PVE DPS because I just recently made the switch. I actually made the same switch on my stam sorc about 9 months ago. My NB is still imperial, but mostly because I dont feel like changing her.

I agree, Redguard is definitely a well balanced option. Can't really go wrong with any of those 3 races. They're all strong in their own ways.

There is no miat addon in console. Salty? im actually more salty that there are better options to run a stam nb such as 5 hundings, 5 automaton with 1 stam regen glyph, masters bow, 1 pirate skeleton or velidreth with the warrior mundus stone. Sure you won't get weapon bonuses for the 2h sword and bow if you don't own a masters bow and a maelstrom 2h sword, but you don't really need a maelstrom 2h sword. The lack of powerful 1 piece weapons is pretty irrelevant as you could always put weapon power enchants on your weapons, the masters bow is actually more important than the 2h maelstrom weapon. Also your crit will be above 40% or 50% with camo hunter for pure face to face combat. Also what is this bosmer dark elf nonsense? go argonian! better heals= better survival for fighting.
Sure there are other sets like shackle breaker and draugr with master bow and maelstrom 2h but nobody got time for that or waste money on morrowind but if you can get hold of if you will become a stam nb killing machine.

I am trying to see if there is some new theory crafting for a darkelf from @dwemer_paleologist , they do have dual wield bonus xp and the Morag Tong are assassins, basically nightblades, so just curious.
