DK using Lascerate ultimate

HI, Im a dragon knight with heavy armour..and Im using dual wield .I just realized if you use the ultimate from dual wield , Lacerate ( unmorfet) , you dont get the resourses from the passive , as you are a DK...with other ultimates works fine,Dawnbraker,take a flight etc ....pls..can you have a look ! thank you !
