Maelstrom Arena Disappointment

@Qbiken @DRXHarbinger I'll keep note of my drops. Ever since retrait was announced I've been doing it once a week for the double drop (leaderboard + last chest) on my templar. I've been told purple rings are a thing but my friends are trolls like me so idk.

@DocFrost72 it'd be good dude, I'd like to see one, be nice to actually pair this up with Ysgramor and Iceheart on a Warden, won't be good or useful at all but finally we'd have some kind of frost mage.

Been doing vMA on 6-8 toons a week since HotR (in general I get 5-6 on the leaderboards). Sometimes I do vMA several times a week/character to get better scores on certain characters (since that´s why I like doing vMA). I´ve probably seen every vMA weapon in all traits since I started "farming" it. Seen all kinds of non-vMA weapons from the other sets in different traits (still no charged Winterborn Ice-staff <---That´s what I´m looking for in particular). Rings drop almost everytime on normal from last chest. Veteran version still doesn´t seem to drop any kind of purple rings. I was very happy when I saw that ZOS added weapons (non-vma weapons) from the maelstrom sets in last chest, even though it wasn´t mentioned in the patch notes.

ZOS still need to fix 2 things in Maelstrom arena:
1. Make the sets drop in sturdy and impenetrable. Still doesn´t make sense why they shouldn't come in those traits
2. Purple rings.

I don´t work with these kind of stuff but I´ve a feeling it can´t be very difficult to fix the stuff I mentioned above.

I believe when they changed the drops to always give you a Maelstrom weap in vet, they messed up the chance to get rings. Because before you could have gotten rings from the last chest, but now, since you get a weapon, they seemed to have removed that. And since they don't drop in other stages, you can't get them anymore on vet. Most definitely an unintended bug.

It's quite possible, since all my completions were after HotR dropped. About 63 of them within a month or so. I only completed it on normal 4 times, once per character after I did vet, because that one is a separate quest and I had to clear it. TBH normal is laughable. On none of my chars did I manage to get myself killed even once.
