· [COMPLETE] EU megaservers for maintenance – February 23, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 17:00 UTC (12:00PM EST)

It seems like it's gotten worst at least for me, waiting 30 mins or more for game to maybe or maybe not load after patch days, so I am asking does anyone have a solution?

On your first login? If it lasts more than about five minutes, alt-F4 out of the game, and retry. By that point the game has already logged you out for inactivity anyway.

Usually I alt tab out and browse imgur.

Yes unfortunately... on that note I don't seem timeout for quite awhile I am talking watched movie or something and was going through this process for two hours.

Yeah, on your first login, the client doesn't detect a timed out login... or something like that. So you can get stuck on the loading screen indefinitely.

I assume the game is doing something, finalizing the update or whatever. But the key is, if you don't get in, quit out, and try logging back in. I think this morning I let it run for about 30 minutes, before I realized something was off. But, about 5 minutes should be safe.

Thank you for confirming it's not just me on my potato of a laptop! Every time it happens, I'm going "Computer? Are you there, computer? You can still run ESO, yes?"

    Yes. Yes, it can.

I log into the game, go fix a soda and the game is ready.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I shopped for a stronger processor.

Now I don't need to shop for a stronger processor. =P
