I heard this was fixed, but it is simply not working for me. Is it working for anyone?

    Working for me fine lol. Always getting items from intermediate chests, purple from advanced and sometimes 2 from master.

    Absolutely fine.
    Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

    I am on PC NA and i don't think it is working all that well.

    I have not gotten a purple from intermediate for a long time now.
    I have opened master and it seems as though I sometimes don't even get a purple item.

    Yeah, I dumped CP into this so I can farm Buoyant Armiger motifs and I still only get blue items at best. I've completed Morrowind to get the extra boost in finding these (yet to find one).

    It only affects set item drop rate and quality, if overland.

    ^ Correct. It advanced chest tier by 1. Simple -> Intermediate. Intermediate -> Advanced. Advanced -> Master. Master -> Chance to give 2 items. Seems it's a Master + Simple chest.

    Yeah, I meant I put the CP into the passive to have better luck with chest contents while farming for the motif. I know it does not increase the motif drop rate.
