Rolled a new character

I haven't played a stamina character since I first bought the game - we rolled up an Orc DragonKnight DK last night.

I had been playing mostly magicka based characters on the MagPlar / MagSorc bandwagon.

Just running through the PVE quests and I realized: For some reason it just feels satisfying to play compared to my Magicka based mains! Wonder why that is?

I'm going to hopefully get back into PVP and I think I'm going to be using this guy. Just thought I'd share my rambling musings!

It is more visceral to look your enemy in the eye I know they are about to be slaughtered.

Ha! It does feel pretty good playing it. Not 100% why yet though! I might dust off the Nightblade to and take him out for a spin.

Change-ups can just be fun, too. I play a Mag DK for the most part, but recently decided to try a mag sorc, and I'm having a lot more fun now, just cause the game feels fresh again, requiring me to learn new skills and strategies and build options. But the most fun is probably getting into werewolf form on my stamblade

Well, in the more serious fights the dps is looking the boss from the butt side. Ok, some bosses must be looked at from the side because their exhaust is to much to handle. (Final boss in vHoF).

Yeah that might be it! I'm actually getting stoked to head back into Cyrodiil for once.

I have not had much luck with Stamina Characters, probably because I am always running out of Stamina just running around. I put my last Stamina Character back into Magic a few weeks ago and have not looked back
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

How can you tell if somebody is magic or stamina?

Been playing for years and I still don't know how to inspect a character.

    Thanks!

Generally by looking at their weapon...

I've mainly played magica based characters. With this IC event going on and the amount of xp I noticed being had I was like hmmmm maybe I will make a stam warden heavy attack build. When Morrowind released I had made a stam warden and eventually ditched it because I found that the dps/survivability compared to my magica characters was meh. Now I feel that since HoTr...let me tell you what....it's been much more fun. Better survivability and burst for sure. When I do go full on PvP again, I will most definitely be rolling the warden and probably a stam dk (haven't played that one yet)

just had a flashback to a couple of years ago and I first realized I could start recognizing different skills and classes of characters...

I was in my very squishy at the time nightblade and it suddenly clicked that I could recognize the templar skills...

at the time I was standing outside a keep sieging it - kept finding templars to stand next to and dance (it was a pretty happy moment) while enemy siege weapons hit all around :p

Yes, amazing how using any of the 8 other weapons (that aren't staffs) will change your perspective.
