Looking for some advice, please. I'm extremely frustrated. I have joined 3 trade guilds and all I seem able to sell is some intricate gear and the occasional recipe or green/blue glyph. My inventory and bank space are chock full, crammed to the brim with armor and weapons from armor sets that I thought I should be able to sell. I've checked TTC and priced my items a bit low but still, they don't ever seem to sell. What do you all do? I'm ready to just start deconstructing them and just save the ones I think my main or alts might use sometime.

And please, don't anybody ask for my stuff for free, because you probably don't want it. Apparently, its crap :)

No one buys green or blue quality items with garbage traits.

Deconstruct them, collect tempers and sell them instead.

    Things that do sell good:
    • Raw material (ore, cloth, leather)
    • CP160 material (full stacks)
    • Upgrading material
    • Perfect roe
    • Alchemy nodes (especially columbine, lady smock, corn flower, nirnroot)
    • Most wanted purple gear with good trait (Spriggan, spinner, plague doctorc etc)
    • Rare motifs

I suggest (if you don't use already) using Master Merchant addon. And if you're ever in doubt, try asking for suggested prices in our guild chat. Usually you'll get the price right.
    NB enthusiastic:
    1. Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
    2. Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
    3. Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
    4. Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

    Go dominion or go home

Nightblade-Hipster. I played Nightblade before it was cool - from 1.5 onwards.

Well, on some armor sets there's more supply than demand (War Maiden and other Morrowind sets are a good example since theyre mostly just a byproduct of farming motifs). Some sets just arent very popular.
TTC is a great tool, but its better used in combination with MM. TTC shows listings whilst MM shows how many of those items were sold recently. For example, if MM shows that only 1 or 2 of these items were sold in the last 100 days and this isnt some super rare recipe or weapon or something, then it might be better to fill your trading slots with something else. Even divine/sturdy/impen items of niche sets might be very difficult to sell, unless the price is so low that someone buys it just to research the trait, and if the trait isnt the best, then its easier to just decon the item. Generally its not worth it to farm or try to resell any set items that arent FoTM.

Why do you even have blue and green glyphs for sale when you have your bank "chock full, crammed to the brim with weapons and armor sets?"

    My personal guidelines for selling:
    - Decon/vendor everything worth less than 4k
    - Use at least 15 slots for selling materials
    - Use max 10 slots for selling motifs
    - Use 5 slots for selling equipment
    - Save only those item set pieces you are gonna use in near future. (So I do not save item sets I might use)

You complained that you couldn't sell your set pieces, but instead of having them in your trader you have them "cramming" up you bank space and inventory...you can't sell what you don't post...

It really depends what items you're selling and their level (cp160 obviously being the most common). There are going to be sets that are obviously more popular than others and thus will sell quicker; and items in those sets with particularly desirable traits will sell faster again.

Are you using TTC website to price, or the addon? If you're only using the website, consider getting the addon as it will then upload the info of your recently listed items to the website.

There is also zone chat. You can try WTS in the more popular zones (where the Undaunted are tend to be the most popular).

I just check patch notes (to see which sets are buffed/nerfed) and trade guild inventories. Awesome guild store+MM makes it pretty easy. :)

    It's not you.

I had five traders and it made no difference what I put up for sale. In the past four weeks it seems that non-one is interested in buying anything. Two traders in Mournhold, one in Windhelm, one in Belkarth, so it ain't the location.

"Sell tempers" - I would if they had dropped more regularly. No problem with metal tempers, but the others went on strike, along with Kuta and perfect roe, all refusing to drop.

I have pulled all items and relisted after two days; furnishings (purple); flowers; well-traited equipment; not much sold.

Stick with creating and selling glyphs, that has been the only thing that has sold consistently for me - all colours work. i was selling Rukuta-based glyphs for 500-700 depending on the type of glyph. Whites will pull 100gp each.

The other option for the useless equipment is sell to a merchant, 40-50gp adds up if you have several dozen to offload.

Just keep in mind how much these things cost you. Above that, everything is profit.

p.s. necro sales have cooled also, unless it's purple jewellery.
I got suspenders for saying "Testicular Mass" instead of "Balls". like, rilly.

I decon every piece of overland gear, unless is something needed for an alt (I keep it) or something both in perfect trait and sought-after set. Otherwise, it can take ages to get a sale.

My sales mostly consist of intricate bits, cooking and furnishing recipes, and refined materials: it gives me a low but steady income. Since I'm refining my own mats, I have a stock of tempers I can sell fast if I ever need gold for something. My source of stuff to sell comes from questing / exploring: I pick up crafting nodes between quest objectives, and loot every single container.
