Highest damage single target skill?

Mostly played my sorc and templar. They do really nice AOE damage but they dont have much single target skills in their trees. (I'm not talking executes and cast time skills.) I know DK has the whip, since I just started playing a dk alt recently. Is DK whip the best single target no cast time dps skill, or is there something from other classes i might have missed?

Id go with assassins will too, but much more than that is possible. Usually hitting it like 40-46k but best one i can remember was about 65k in a trial.
Crystal frags might hit about that hard too, but not sure because I dont have a magsorc.

as many said before assasins will with enough buffes it can hit 50k+ even heard of 60k+

Assassin's Will hits hard with a good build. For a non-proc skill, Dark Flare and Deep Fissure both hit pretty hard. Dark Flare's got a cast time tho, and Deep fissure has a 3 second delay, like a sorc's curse.

It's both a blessing and a curse. Magicka NB are essentially tied down to that skill being their dps maker. If it gets too buffed, it'd send mNBs over the edge in pve and one shot territory in pvp, if it gets nerfed then the class is trash. Lol

Yeah, probably assassins will. Seen some frags for 50k, and whips for 35k.

Guardian's Savagery (stam Warden's bear ulti activate) is the highest damage single target skill even before execute range. In execute range, the ultimate gets further boosted by +100%.

The list by @Siliziumdioxid is pre all buffs, the base damage. There are a ton of ways to buff that damage number but this is all of the at base.

I would like to see a number for uppercut.

Well: 40k Stam 4k Weapon Damage (this number because ultimates have the same damage, like in the magical comparison above) all pre buff & noncrit:

Perhaps im reading it wrong: (it stacks other than i thought or it has a 6 target cap) but at 40k Magicka /4k Spell Damage Magicka Detonation has a Base Damage of 6089. Given it really receives the max ´250% Increase it would end up with a total of:
21301
Making it the highest single pre execute tick of Damage i found so far.
