Healing in Dungeons

a) Are there any good recommended addons specific for healing ?

b) In WoW I can target my cursor on any target so targeted healing is much easier i dont believe we will be able to cursor on individuals in ESO...so how do you actually do a single target heal ?

c) In WoW we used to have addons that warns if I am standing on *** or something bad is going to happen like boss is going to do a high impact move...do we have any such addons in ESO ?

    a) no idea, but the basic UI lets you see wha5t group members have in terms of missing health. Those need heals asap.

    b) put some healing ground aoe, or a hot on your allies. It's not for you to decide, in ESO, who will live or die. You canno really target heals (unless it's the warden skill that ports you to the ally).

    c) in ESO the UI shows you're standing in stupid (red circle under you by default, you can change the colour now), and heavy attacks from mobs/bosses are alse clearly telegraphed. This is also shown in the game tutorial.

Almost all heals in this game are "smart heals", meaning it goes to the player with the lowest health at the time of casting. For hots, if everyone is at 100% health it is random at first cast then goes to whoever does not have it.

The only heal I can think of that is targeted is the wardens Nature's Grasp, http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Nature's_Grasp, maybe combat prayer night be considered aimed, as it only heals in a rectangle in front of you.

there is a bunch of heals that are aimed.. sorta.. but not at specific players, but rather in their direction. you place stuff under their feet, you have a few cone in front of you heals combat prayer being one of them its a morph of a healing staff ability) everything else is proximity+missing health smart heals. you don't have single target heals as much as you have burst heavy heals, so you need to make sure that you are facing the right way, positioned in the right way |(except if you are a sorc using matriarch, then you just need to be in range)

very VERY different from WoW and games like WoW healing, so took me a while to get used to it. its not as precise, so its both harder AND easier (since triage is no longer something that you have to think about).

Also, remember, heals are applied either in an AoE circle that you see, or in a cone in front of the healer. Players that are behind you will not get any heals, unless they are in the AoE. Players that are flanking you may or may not get any heals, unless they are also in the AoE.

So, typically, the best stack in a dungeon is Healer at back, DPSs inbetween and Tank on boss.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
