I personally wanna see Coral Kingdoms of Thras and sloads living there. As well as the rest of the Valenwood with Imga in it. Really sad devs decided to leave them out of the game.
When i think of TESV1 i think of what kind of super computer it will take to run it. I upgraded my PC to run ESO on close to max settings and that's the last time i'm upgrading my PC to play a new game.
ESO has explored lots of areas not covered in earlier games, All of the AD zones for one, and Daggerfall is hardly an good representation for DC since its so old.Skyrim sold 20 million retail copies. That translates to over $1 billion dollars worth of revenue. Apparently it took $85 million for development and advertising, so Bethesda made a cool $ 1 billion profit on Skyrim.
And those figures are 4 years old. I am sure more copies have been sold since then.
If Bethesda was a public company they would have had a hard time explaining to shareholders why they haven't released another installment of the ES series given the enormous profitability of the last game. But since they are private they can take their time.
However, I think you would have to have a lunatic running the company to terminate the series. They are just into other things at the moment.
I have a feeling that ESO won't explore anything outside of what the ES series has explored with it's single player games. I think it would erode the hype of a new single player experience if it has been seen before, and the single player experience is the real cash cow for Bethesda.
I'd rather not imagine such a horrible scenario at all. If they said there wasn't going to be a TESVI, I'd immediately cancel my ESO subscription and uninstall this mediocrity from computer. I only play this in anticipation for TESVI.
