BC2 did go a bit wild for a while I thought it was getting fixed tho but think I'm confused. It's still doable just have to be more wary
But yeah as a mag toon CC can suck in PvP, I thought it was my Stam management but no, even full resources its a nightmare, in particular fear.

Fear has always been somewhat screwy as far as being able to break free but what is really a problem in PvP right now is knockdown stuns. No matter how much stam I have when knocked down I'm not able to get up for a minimum of 2-3 seconds. At least when fear bugs out and won't let you break it half the time you run away from the attacker out of melee range, getting knocked down by Dizzying swing, or worse an Incapacitating strike, leaves you completely vulnerable with the attacker right on top of you wailing away for a full 3 seconds.

I think the bug is actually caused by getting knocked down while either rooted or sprinting. I think they fixed the sprinting thing last patch though.

That does make a lot of sense. I think that as more people are figuring out what causes it, more people are intentionally replicating it.
If you see a stamblade with their root slotted, and the root goes off before the knockdown, now you know why
