So, it's been a long time since I last posted something on the forums. But, I just had a weird experience in a random dungeon with a group of randoms that I want to share, get your opinion on, or maybe hear about similar episodes.
We were a group of low levels, somewhere in the late 20s and 30s. Me as a warden healer, two templars, and a nb. CoA2 was our appointed dungeon. I don't remember running there before, although I'm not without any experience in 4 men dungeons.
Everything was quite ok and not weird in any remarkable way. There even was some ingame music during the fights that I had not noticed in any other dungeon before. Somewhere in the middle of some trash fight -- on that bridge, where mobs keep spawning until a boney guy is attacked -- I found out why I hadn't heard that music before. And all of the sudden, the whole scenario got rather weird: I noticed one of the DDs rummaging his inventory and then, when he found whatever he was looking for, starting to play the flute. That's right, he stopped fighting, just stood there, a few steps off the heat, and played the song that we all know and love from the many inns across Tamriel. I asked in chat, why he did that at this moment, but no one answered. He did it again in later trash fights and even at the two bosses, where the western and eastern rituals must be interrupted.
Don't get me wrong, I don't have to rush through dungeons. It's totally fine with me if it takes a little longer, espacially when it feels like my first visit to a dungeon. And ther is no "but" to this stance. Still, this was just strange. At some moment, I thought that he vas a vet who wanted to point out that we were doing things wrong in a funny way. Since he suicided in the lava, I rejected this hypothesis.
If I managed to put a smile on your faces, this thread fulfilled it's purpose. If you find some of your time to share your weird experiences, it'd be a nice bonus. If you happen to feel that you might be that musician that I wrote about and care to explain, it'd be just awesome.
Thanks for reading!
