I'm getting a ton of random gold whenever I first view my bank with each character.

I don't keep up with news or events at all, so this could just be a pleasant surprise, but I wanted to be sure. I had just installed a couple mods for the first time, UI mods that I found are a year out of date and thus do not work, but as soon as I view my bank I am given tens of thousands of gold coins that are deposited directly into my reserves.This is repeatable for each character, though only once, to my knowledge. It also seems to be related to their levels, for instance, a level 20 seems to receive 10,000 gold whilst a level 6 is getting something like 2,000. Is this some sort of compensation for something having happened or event, or is it something I should be reporting?

✭No, it's very unusual. I know of no free gold mechanic; ZOS is not generous at all in that regard (or any) so what you have is special. That's why that guy above is asking so frantically for a way to replicate it and get free cash.The generally amicable yet sporadically salty magplar that may or may not have 1vXed you in Sotha Sil. I'm just going to guess if it's Eu or Na? I'm just going to guess if they are running an add on that requires a .exe to function? I'm just going to guess that the money appears out of nowhere without interacting on a menu?

✭✭✭✭✭It's possible it's one of the addons that auto-stacked stuff from your bags into your bank; it's possible that one of them is set to automatically deposit any gold on hand into the bank, which is why it only worked for each alt once. Your alts probably had a little bit of gold on them (and your higher-level alts probably had more gold on them than the lower-level ones), and that's what got transferred into the bank. ✭✭✭✭Scotwork's addon do just that - deposits gold into bank. You can tweak amount you want to keep on any char, anything ove that will go into bank whenever you acess one on that char.0
