Guards And Servants

In some of the larger houses theres something missing that would bring the place alive and add to its feeling of being lived in. Guards and Servants. Walking into Daggerfall Overlook by yourself the place feels empty and quiet. Too quiet. Aside from the ceilings being possibly lower in certain areas the Manor is for the most part the size of the same Manors in Daggerfall, Alcaire and Wayrest. And when you visit these locations they are bustling with activity. Guards, servants, merchants and nobles are all going about their business.

Id like to see an addition to the Housing that would allow for players to add Guards and servants with minor to no animations. Just a soldier standing guard near the gate, or a servant sweeping up in the hearth. Nothing too fancy or over the top. Just a little assistance in the immersion department for Housing.

You´re right. Adding home npc´s has already been suggested, but, as I see it, never suggested enough, until we finally get that in the housing system. It´s what we need to make our homes look alive.

Weren't they planning to add Soul Shriven as a sort of furnishing? (Admittedly that would be out of place for 99 homes out of 100...)

They already added the soul shriven. Only too creepy for a regular home. Expect more to come?

I'd be happy with various themed guards, maybe vampire thralls or lycanthropes based upon your curse, dwarven constructs, or for the large more notable houses even faction applicable guards, be cool to see guild related ones for people with high enough ranking or for finishing that campaign, having some mages wander around my library or fighters guild sparing in the courtyard, undaunted singing in my dining hall, thieves guild checking out my trophy collection, dark brotherhood assassins seeking the protection of the family while they wait and plan an attack, makes you feel as if your choices mattered and you're still part of those groups when you hand in your last quest.

It would be nice if pets, once placed in your home, did more than just sit there. Having them just kind of wander around or at least perform the idle animations they do when equipped outside of homes, would breathe some extra life into our homes.

Servants, guards, and faction-based npcs would be amazing; but i don't see ZOS doing it. They don't consider feedback often.

You can semi make your own guards with in ***, either centurions or skeletons but yeah I want humanoids as well tbh.
