Fast leveling 50-CP160 with xp potion

I'm lvl 46 now, planning to leveling fast to CP 160 (used to just wandering around earning exp randomly). I want to use the 50% potion, but not sure which way would be most effective time wise. Should I do quests (which ones?), grind (public dungeons?overland spot?others?), or something else? I only want to get to cp 160 before going back to my wandering way, and prefer to do it solo if possible. Any advice is appreciated!

Get a full set of training gear, armor and weapons, a stack of XP pots, ESO plus and a grinding partner and find a good grinding spot.

You'll be CP160 in no time (well, sort of ish)

Do a really, long quest first before you use the potion, and right before you get that final reward at the end, chug the potion. I did this after one of the main questline quests, and it was an immediate 20,000 XP as I remember. LOL. You can have a few different quests 99% done (without taking that final reward) before you chug the potion, then after you drink it, go around as fast as you can and finish that final part of all the quests you started.

I've done this, then spent my time running from dolmen to dolmen in the time I had remaining on the potion.

Yes, training gear helps tremendously to get there even faster.

CP to 160 will accumulate very quickly, no matter what you do these days. Dungeons are still a good way to earn them if you are XP potion boosted, especially with daily undaunted now that you are over level 45.

If you insist on solo content, just do quests and kill mobs.

It also depends a bit if youre stamina or magicka etc... magicka is a pain because of the collection of the lore books (PLEASE change this zos)...stamina i recommend doing dolments until you at least get lvl 10 of the fighters guild skill line...you can basically do 3 things at the same time - lvl skill line, lvl and also get some gear/money depending on which dolmen you do... a good grinding spot is faster but doesn't lvl fighters guild

CP10-150 is fast regardless, but as others suggested, training gear adds much.

In addition to what has been suggested, get a group of guildies together and run a random normal dungeon. Fast 100 XP though the training gear only affects NPC kills.

I just hit 92 CP and have been doing the dolemn grind. It's good for many things but if you're only after XP it's not optimal.

I like it because my woefully outdated training gear doesn't matter and I get to train up skills with no effort because I don't even have to attack anything. So now I've maxed out Desto and almost maxed out Resto. Almost FG is maxed out too. Some good jewellery drops too.

I grinded too much now though so I used up all my enlightenment and my CP gain is so slow....

Thank you all for the advices! I got to cp 50 now, still some way to go but definitely on the right track.
