They've already said it's a zone and doesn't need the Morrowind Chapter. Clockwork City is a standard DLC game pack and does not require you to have purchased ESO: Morrowind.

After the last few updates, they started giving us information about 2 weeks after last one hit consoles, so I guess we should be getting at least a little bit more info around the second week of September.

If you read the uesp wiki about clockwork City, it states that it is a literal miniature (smaller than a netch) city which one would need to be shrunk down in order to gain access. The last known place in 2E 583 (ESO time) is in Seht's Vault in Deshaan. This is stated in the game by Barilzar.

“Clockwork City is a DLC, roughly the same size as Dark Brotherhood or Thieves Guild. It takes place entirely in the Clockwork City and has some exciting new systems and quality of life improvements. We’re not quite ready to discuss details just yet though, so stay tuned for more info.”

    • What the hell a mini-trial is
    Y'know. Basic stuff.
This, it could either be an short trial, or for an 6 player group 4 DD healer and tank.
Hoping the last for normal trials the time consuming part is getting an group.

IIRC they said it would be a 12-man trial.

All 12 players will be shrunk into mini versions of themselves, thus a mini trial. Or maybe it's something like vMA but for 12 people.

well we were shrunk down to get into Clockwork City...so you may be onto something there :)

So, new map, 10-15 hours questing. New "small" 12 men trial, gonna guess three bosses. Probably class balance changes, since they were pretty much untouched this last 2 patches. QoL improvements could be weapon dyeing and maybe increased house slots/players. But what could be the "exciting new systems"? I'd say token's is a likely candidate, maybe a new objective on cyro? That would be cool.

    Hope it's not a "chapter"

A "sequential story entry" is the next big thing.

Its actually going to be a "Chapscription". To access the content we'll need to own Eso, have an Eso sub, own the Morrowind chapter and have the $15 per month Chapscription. You do get an additional 5 Crowns to buy whatever you want from the Crown store aswell as an all new Jewel currency where you get the chance of maybe getting something rare from mystical Jewel Boxes that you unlock in Crown Crates.

This is, without a doubt, the funniest thing I've ever read on this forum :D

In unrelated news I tried to order a chapscription but only got the error message that I'm illegible. Unlegible. Terrible.

Clockwork pets, they shrink with you. Not like your regular pets!

If the map size is the same as Orsinium but I am 20 times smaller ... does that make the playable space 20x larger?

I'm actually tempted to trademark Chapscription so I get a cut too ;)
