I have a feeling everyone else must find this as annoying as I do... but when a character is mounted, everytime one goes over a puddle or body of water that is knee deep the character is stopped on its tracks, automatically dismounted, and forced to go over the water by foot for 2 seconds to then remount and get back on the trail. Now... I know cats in general dont like water, (and some actually do), but i think the rest of us would be very happy and at ease if we didnt have to auto dismount everytime we face this situation. It gets very annoying at times and it becomes a dull and unrefined task.
Sooo... Would it be possible to allow mounts to possibly go neck deep before having to dismount? or perhaps even better allow them to swim while mounted at the normal swim speed (not the mount speed). All in good order to shortcut the repetitive and dull task to mount and dismount every time you come accross a puddle, shallow stream, or swimmable body of water.

✭✭✭✭✭This is made more fun in that water depth for dismount depend on character height.
Yes an small bosmer will be forced off his mount in more shallow water than an tall altmer.
This is more fun if you ride on an horse or worse the camel who would have no issue fording the shallow water.
Another mindbogglingly idiotic feature. Having the dismount depth fixed would be more sensible and make it possible to make fordable places. It would also be simpler to implement.Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.2 -
purple-magicb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭You raise a good point with the differences in mounts. Each mount should have its pros and cons. Smaller mounts (like tigers etc) may be slightly faster for the shorter distance runs, the larger mounts like horses could be allowed to ride over these puddles where the smaller ones force you to dismount (cats especially). Other mounts could be better on rough terrain (mountains) and travel without too much loss in speed for example. I find this particularly irrtating, so much so that I've renamed my horse from Starlight to Stumblebum.
