Please change how View Guild Bank Gold works.

I'm on Xbox One and been messing around with the changed permissions. Unfortunately, the view guild bank gold does not work as I hoped it would. When you take that permission away, the entire bank deposits disappear meaning people can't see if they deposited or not. This is a major issue for Xbox as the guild bank tends to glitch a lot, so people can't double check that they actually deposited. What we want is for players not to be able to see the current guild bank gold amount and not to be able to see bids. They should still be allowed to see if they deposited or not into the guild bank. Please change this with your next update.

LadyDestiny✭✭✭✭✭Totally agree. Don't know why they even changed this. So far all my guilds have left viewing privileges on except for one. Not sure what their reasoning is, but asked if they could at least show deposit history to make sure dues were paid. I think this will cause probles in the future. You could deposit funds, only to have a guild say you never did and you have no access to the proof to back it up. Zos and their great ideas........1 -

✭I made a post about this a couple of weeks ago. I am still hoping this is a bug that will be fixed. Viewable Banked gold and guild deposits need to be 2 different things. The permission itself is about gold, not depositing items in the bank

If they can see current bank gold total, they can deduce the bid amount. That's how it was prior to this patch.
Maybe you just need to be able to see your own deposit history.

✭Or release guild tools for managing large guilds on the console.
They really need to dedicate a large portion of an update to GUI QOL updates and guild tools. They need to add some sort of outfitter system... so on and so on...XBOX NA

This is a feature, not a bug. It was introduced in Horns of the Reach, to combat being able to calculate guild kiosk bids from the deposit/ withdrawal history.
I empathize with y'all for the issues it causes, PC GM's can mitigate some of them with addons. On console it'd be much harder to do something like deposit confirmation mails, huh?

Jolter✭✭✭Something would be good, I tested this again last week with the new update and it's still broken. What's the point in hiding deposits from the people who made the deposit? Hide other's deposits sure, but at least let people see their own deposits.0
