A way to impeliment bounties.. sort of.

Now people really wanted the originally planned player bounties. But running into PVP content in PVE zones seems very distressing for a lot of players even those people doing a lot of stealing.

How about an opt in system of a dueling ladder. Where winning duels would increase your "bounty" for finally defeating you in a duel. There is a ladder for Cryodil and battlegrounds (I think) why not have a global duel competition.

It would work on a ELO like system so you couldn't just beat the same terrible duelist over and over then let them win to take your bounty to grind gold. Not logging in would reduce your "bounty" like it does for crime bounties (not as fast obviously) so you couldn't just not long in to save your space.

You would have to have auto decline duels off and you have to be ready to duel at any time. which would suck if you weren't ready. I guess it would have to be "ranked duel" or something that would give more time to prepare. hmm.

You could also have something like the "assassins game" where you are given a person you have to find and duel and win. but time zones and play times could make that much harder than a straight dueling ladder.

Any dueling competition should be based on it taking place in an arena (as per the one that already exists). That way people could go along and watch if they wanted to, the concern about being ready at any time could be resolved by "bounty duels" only being enabled within the perimeters of the arena, and those who have no interest in it wouldn't be bothered by it (which they would be if as usual with dueling it all took place by wayshrines).
