    I'm actually a little surprised by this. I figured that the results would be skewed heavily towards the PC side, but I wasn't expecting that heavily. I do find it interesting to see just how few people actually use Steam. And I am surprised there has been as many on the mac side of things as there is. 3 out of 148. That is a huge amount for mac gaming. And 12 out of 148 for the steam side says that it is really not that popular of a platform for ESO.

    I am curious, why did you separate steam from non steam?

    I am on PC, then steam had a free to play day for ESO so for a lark I installed it on Steam, but logged in with my regular login. So does it matter if you are a steam user or not? Since its all the same server.
    As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.

    @Deheart The reason deals with the post I referred to. They were looking at the data of users on Steam who played Elder Scrolls Online and trying to use that to apply to the whole of ESO. So that got me curious, if we broke it down based on where they go to play, not the servers they play on how much of the PC/mac user base is on Steam, and while this too represents a small percentage of the actual user base, the numbers are very telling and to me tell an interesting story.

    @Zuboko KK, wish I could revote, because I now launch it exclusively through steam due to convenience as every other game I like and currently play is on there.

    Its funny, some of the games I like most like ESO, Eve Online (haven't played in a couple of years), Fallout Shelter, and The Secret World Legends (which is just a revamped dummed down version of The Secret World) all started off steam and now are available.

    Started on pc beta no steam then transfer to xb.

    I played pc gaming for 15 years never used steam and only heard of it in the last few years. Still not really sure what it is TBH XD

    I have the Steam Link hooked up to my tv if that's what you mean. I use my Xbox One controller and sit on the couch. I have a wireless keyboard hooked up as well if I need to type anything.

    @BloodWolfe yes that is what I was wondering about ... and from the looks of things I might join the ranks of those who have multiple copies of it. The current set up I have to do that is a little on the annoying side and that looks like a lot easier way.
