What is wrong with ZOS?
The lag in Cyrodiil.. Have you ever been in cyrodiil at 10fps when everyone is battling in one spot? i have....
What causes this lag? Well I have a 2gb GTX 1050 (yes decided to go cheap). Powerfull card good 60fps on single players games but when I go to Cyrodiil, 10fps. You really need about 4gb - 8gb graphics card to get Cyrodiil at a steady 30fps.
So whats the best way to fix this? ZOS should send all their subs at least a GTX 1050 TI 4gb.
How should ZOS pay for that? I'm sure they have enough money from all the years of sub fees PLUS! Morrowind purchases...
Will they do it? no of course not...
Stamina DPS Balance.
Man this one gets me all the time. You have two dps types the Magicka dps and the Stamina dps (in reality an MMORPG should just have 1 basic dps and a ability cool down sys).
ESO on the other has stamina dps, and magicka dps that uses two different resource that.... idk what the *** is this mess they thought up of.
Now the problem with this is that ZOS made Stamina builds way way to overpowered, A stamina build has way more burst dps than a magicka build, that right there is completely unfair competition. Some people say have u seen what a Sorc can do? yes but have u seen what a stamina sorc can do?
Lets look at the stam weapons, u got one handed, two handed, dual wield and your basic range bow. Lets look at the Magicka weapons.. u got a destro staff, and oh wait just 1...
Now me personally i dont like to use melee weapons on this game so my only option is that good ol destro staff..yup. Dont u think its time to buff that old magicka stick? if u dont want to give your subs GTX 1050 TI's at least buff up that whack destro staff or nerf those overpowered stamina weapons.
I dont know if those two clowns u had on ESO LIVE, who talked so much crap about ESO told u to make stamina builds the most op cuz u got to be kidding me?

A regular MMORPG increases level caps once a year.
This game came out it 2014 and we are still at lv 50?
you keep on increase and nerfing champion points for what? level cap is still 50? come on ZOS speed it up. We should be at lv cap 60 by now.
Set gear
Its cool i like it but u guys are surely running out of set ideas. Most of the new set u came out with are very very... well u get the picture.
U got to give us something better that will increase our stats be creative ZOS is what u get paid for.
so anyways this is my rant. you are all welcome to make fun of my grammar and debate my demands (I wont read any of it)

Axoinus✭✭✭✭✭I've always heard the ESO is processor intensive. Also, I get better performance hardwired into the modem that over wifi. Been thinking about upgrading to the super high speed internet.
I don't think it's the stamina weapons being OP, I think it more about the set bonuses. Zos has made adjustments to these recently.
I'm not sure how going from 50-60 would change anything seeing as how Champion points start kicking in. Like it or love it, ZOS took the champion point path rather than raising level caps...probably because people hate having to re-farm for next level gear.
I suspect that ZOS will eventually turn of Champion points in PvP or give everyone max champion points in PvP. Or maybe they will just give everyone max Champion point at level 50...hell. Give to everyone at level 1. Eventually they will have to change the direction champion points are going.0 -

This demonstrates without a doubt that OP lacks any clue. Lvl cap has been raised 3 times since the game was released. V10 to v12 then to v14 and last was an increase to v16. v16 translates to the CP160 which is our gear cap.
Further, CP has been raised almost every quarter for at least a year an a half.
Additionally, what OP failed to consider is games that regularly increase lvl caps have very limited gear and that gear it tiered. Raising the level cap is done to manage the power creep. Something Zos handles via other means.
I am not disagreeing with OP, he seems to lacks the experience to fully comprehend much of what he states here.
Granted, he has chosen to ignore replies in this thread that do not agree with him based on his last statement which is his prerogative, but a bulk of his OP is merely worthy of the devs ignoring this thread as well.1 -

You do know you're playing a Multiplayer game over an Internet connection right? Having a computer built by NASA wouldn't help you. The lag is fine with small encounters, and it gets worse the larger the fight gets, more and more people in one place. You may have a gtx 1050, but if the rest of your computer is ***, it means nothing. I run a gtx 980 at a constant 60-70 fps. The ping spikes on the other hand, can't do *** about that.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Further, a GTX 1050 is middle of the road GPU these days. There are a number of previous gen cards like the GTX 770 and 970 that should perform better. Further, ESO is GPU intensive and yes, that will affect your FPS. Also, health of the PC itself has a huge affect. Though, yes, Cyrodiil is far from optimal.Edited by idk on August 26, 2017 8:41PM0 -

✭To the OP: having low fps isnt a issue of low computer-specs. Its a *** of players at the same spot who all are fighting, so there is a *** of data being send and received by your computer. Don't bother. I just went through that process. Literally, the only thing I haven't upgraded is my video card. Maybe OP is right on that score? I hope so.
You see, the stumbling block to acceptance of lag as inherent is every once in a blue moon I'll watch a live stream or play a couple PvP videos. As a general rule, streamers and video makers NEVER lag, no matter how many people are in the area.
Think I will try a high end AMD card. Not the consumer gamer nonsense but the workhorses that chew through everything.
One question I have to ask, what modem do you have that let's you hardwire?0 -

It's commonly accepted that cabled internet connections perform far better for games than wireless connections. I don't know of a modem that doesn't have a USB connection option. If you're saying you're not aware of one that does, is that a US thing? If all modem connections there are wireless then it would certainly explain a lot. However, I'm guessing that you're misunderstanding the term "hardwired".
Then again, I've never been clear whether the terms "router" and "modem" are used in the same way as between the US and say the UK. In the UK, a modem connects a single computer to the ISP's cable, and a router sits between the modem and the ISP's cable and splits the signal from the modem between multiple computers - is that how the terms are used in the US?0 -

Pretty sure you're wrong about that. I've got 25MB (not Mb) down and 10MB up hard wired into my cable modem. I don't have the disconnect problem a lot of people get when they are around big fights but I do often see my FPS drop and get serious input lag.To the OP: having low fps isnt a issue of low computer-specs.
