It a really good set on magplar and magdk.In BG its free damage and its a dot that breaks cloak and proc skoria.I only fought 2 people who ran it 1 a really good buddy but most people think it sucks and just ignore it.Its a set that proc constantly and can be really proc for free on a magplar.
So why do people think the set so weak?It's a magic viper pre nerf imo and now they Pretty much the same.

Lmfao, it's actually a decent build, ran it a few times.
Just constantly use that prison move until they can't CC break for a few secs. Now is it something I would wanna competitively run? No, but it is fun!

Not by itself, but it does give classes access to a pbaoe dot. Which then allows players to run Skoria on a class without them.
Example, warden has no way to proc skoria (don't you dare say Artic Wind is worth slotting on a DD build)

✭I don't like it mainly because it focuses the closest target instead of procing on 1 and staying with it. When you are fighting out numbered and it splits its damage between two or 3 ppl it's not good at all.
It's fun in duels. I went light armor templar using shields and IG for fun with OS and yes you can kill ppl with the cast of 1 vamps bane, 1 shield, and radiant.Edited by Brutusmax1mus on August 28, 2017 12:49AM2 -

The highest damage against target skeleton, by a small margin, among a handful of sets I use on my magden. Can proc increased damage from concussion. The reason I prefer other sets is for stacking magicka, and hence bigger shields, rather than spell damage. ✭✭✭The set is OP: Only required on one bar, deals aoe dmg, procs Skoria and procs Concussion (free 8% incoming damage buff). It's ironic that stuff like this and Skoria is still in the game after stam procs got rekt so badly. Prisoner's was a big enough pain to farm for me; purple rings drop so rarely that they cost 10k minimum despite other similar LA sets are 500 gold for each purple jewel.

Methariorn✭✭✭It's a good set for a magplar in smallscale/BG: free dps, concussion, it can proc skoria and on top of that good stat with two stack of spellpower and one of magicka: many dps magicka sets give you a stack of spell critical but I like the two spell power stack more.Methariorn sorc EU server AD
