Wiping on first trash in normal dungeon with cp group, all but one above 160. Darkshade cavern with friends, random normal dungeon but this was then it was problems with finder so you had to port in manual after getting removed from area.

Tank wanted to hit bank first so I and low cp friend ported in first, I was rearranging bar while he thought we two could clear first trash so he charged, I heard fighting and ran down but he was down before I could reach him.
He went down and all the mob hit me, healer had not sweeps slotted so I went down. Friend resurrected and mob came back for him, then up for the second DD who was also killed, think he was pretty offline too.

Found it was best to res together and mobs went back.
Tank ported in while we was resurrecting, he was very salty say we would wipe on mudcrabes without him to protect us.
If we do wayrest sewer 1 with the same group and tank is late we simply has to wipe.
That joke works just as well in veteran.

Getting Javelin'ed off a bridge in Cyrodiil while shooting a spell towards an enemy with Swarm Mother's equipped, getting chained into him on another side of water and dieing to Fall Damage and Slaughterfish damage. Disintegrating into a pile of ash and getting Repentance'd by an enemy Templar who then transforms into a Werewolf and uses Devour synergy on your corpse and jumps for joy.

Dying as the last living member of your team with the dungeon boss at 1% HP or lower. Alternatively, dying on a no-death-run to the last boss in the last few seconds. Any death in vMA.

I was so close to getting my first finish on VMA the other night.

Boss was down to 10%. I was almost out of magicka. A crematorium guard was on my case. There was a gold ghost so I grabbed it and was ready for a spectral explosion.

Three white ghosts then drifted into me and that was that.

I don't have the willpower to try again.

For me the worst deaths are those caused by my own negligence, especially if it results in a lot of time and effort being wasted. I only play solo so don't have to worry about wasting other peoples' time by dying.

So, spending 30 mins filling my pack with stolen goods and then getting killed by some guards. Bad.

Or when soloing a dungeon, spending 20 mins grinding down a boss's health bar, then losing concentration out of sheer boredom, messing up my rotation and dying. I haven't actually died like this yet, but I've come very close to it. If I did I'm sure I would be truly mortified.

I'm such a novice at PvP that all those deaths in Cyrodiil just don't hurt at all. Long periods of riding punctuated by brief periods of being dead - that's what Cyrodiil is all about, right?

First thing I saw then I got down on the beach at Khenarthi's Roost after escaping coldharbor was an player who agroed an group of mudcrabs took to much damage, tried to run and was killed.
Managed to die by them, was fighting 3 bandits at the beach so I used AoE, this agroed an lot of mudcrabs who also attacked me. They was stronger back then and AoE was much weaker.
