Can anyone confirm it's working? I'm at work and cannot check.

    Seems to be working for me. I have several toons with Treasure Hunter unlocked. Just got a purple motif from an Intermediate chest.

    Was it NOT working properly? That would explain my abysmal loot lately.....

    How did ZOS broke it originally is what I've been wondering, how and why.
    Did some kid got in and deleted a few line of codes.
    Did server got burnt out 5% gone?

    Anyway, I'm sure next week's console patch won't have the fix in it, so now we know what bugs are coming.

    I unlocked a chest and a Khajiit jumped out and said, Thank You! He took off and the loot went with him.

    Probably a flag for the loot tables got misconfigured when they were modified for HotR. It could be as simple as the improved loot tables being overwritten with the normal ones.

    It definitely wasn't working last week, was getting trash even out of master chests. Haven't had a chance to test since the most recent patch.

    I was running around hitting chests this morning with my Treasure Hunter Character.

    Didn't seem to be doing much good for me.

    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...

    If past experience is any judge then we will have to live for 6 weeks with this bug because ZOS usually can't be bothered to fix these thing for us in a timely manner (like for example the bug with the paintings).

    I must be on the low end of the RNG for everything, everywhere. I very rarely get anything decent from chests (dungeon or overland). 99.99999999999999% of the time, it's white vendor trash and a colored (green/blue/purple - depending on chest type) non set piece of crap armor or weapon.

    I read this in the patch notes as well so I went to work in Vvardenfell on my questing char who has everything there completed along with his Treasure Hunter passive and finally after 4 hours of diligent treasure chest looting left and right I scored...

    I think it's already bugged now on PS4, found a treasure map of vvardenfell, when chest opened just a blue ring which I can only sell for 150 gold. I have vvardenfell quests done and treasure hunter passives, where's the promise of purple drop as per patch notes for Morrowind. You liar ZOS.

    I believe chests from treasure maps do not get the passive applied to them. At least, this is how I recall it being for a very long time on xbox (been playing about 2 years). I stopped going after maps because of this and haven't tried one in over a year.

    I thought treasure hunter only increased the quality of loot, i.e what you find is more likely to be blue or purple? Or has this been changed and it grants extra loot now?

    Master chests from what I thought are supposed to give 2 pcs from a set.could be wrong.

    when i find master chests, wow!, pulled about 7-8 items, sometimes with 2 purples, 1 item and 1 for crafting.

    i wonder why golds are same amounts, 116g per chest instead of tiered amounts of extra golds base on? devs kinda cheapass low-blow on designs. Masters should had 5x more extra golds since masters are rare to find.

    simple = standard amounts
    intermedetted = 1.75x
    advanced = 3.5x
    masters = 5x

    So now that its been a while since this was 'fixed' I can say for sure I am not seeing any improvement in and around Vvardenfel. Oddly enough it seemed to work great in pretty much any other area, but I still have no luck in Morrowind even with the Champion of Vivec title and Treasure Hunter.

    What is everyone elses findings?

    I dont think that any fixes from the last 2 pc patches made it into the PS4 release. We will probably have to wait 6 weeks before that is fixed (as usually ...)
