Zos, do i need to quit my job and stop my career just so i can enjoy some PVP time without lag??
Seriously the only time u can play this game is when the pop is Med -High(barely). - Which not relevant to the common person cuz its till 4-5AM and we have jobs, u know...

And lets be honest, NO1 is playing in the other CP camps, its a nightcap pvdoor fest.
And no, Playing in NONCP is pointless for me, why would i do that when i own 950 CP? Not to mention its the least balance pvp...

You have many supporters buying items from Crown Store, Subs, and it has been too long. Way too long.
You promised massive factions fights, so start delivering before pepole will simply stop supporting and funding this game.
Its just too much after 3 years of playing this game - and i cant even see upcoming changes related to this. After supporting so much myself i feel ripped.

It's not like im taking ZOS side or anything on this matter but...

I can always join PVP campaigns no problem... I usually play Vivec (CP campaign) in peak and in non-peak times... appart from having a little fps drop or lag spike (not very often and actually the same it happens when playing PVE) my performance is just fluid most of the time, and I have been in massive zergs with everyone throwing all kind of *** to the others, and also in Trials with 12 people giving the most of their builds with all these flashy sparks, and glittering and shiny stuff on my screen that takes me close to epilepsy sometimes xD

My computer is not a beast or anything, actually an average one that allows me to play the game with good graphics (not all in epic or anything tho') and my internet company... well, i dont have any issues about it...

So, if this thread is about how the game performs in PVP lag-wise and stuff... you guys should check your computers or connections, not sure, im not a geek or anything... But honestly, the servers are just fine to me, and I guess im not the only one... right?

LOL, literally hundreds of posts about lag but there's always at least one guy who comes in to claim BS because everything works just fine for them. Tell them every other game you play works just fine and it's only ESO that runs poorly and they still will argue it must be a fault on your end.

I generally have very little lag, and very few issues with the game at all - PVE and PVP. I played loads when the last event was on, so every campaign was pop-locked and the whole map was a zergfest - still remarkably few issues. The only thing that frustrates me is the queue system.

If you're interested, I'm running an iMac - top of the range, but hardly a gaming beast. My internet connection is pretty good though, usually >50 Mbps.

I could do with being a bit less crap in PVP, but try as I might, I can't really blame ZoS for that!!

Right now there's really nothing more to Cyrodiil than "go over there and kill other people." The keep siege system is overly simplistic, and after so long, pretty boring. These days I just stand on the wall and watch the enemy siege, disinterested in it for the most part.

It would be really great if they could take some of the mechanics they've built for BGs, and find a way to incorporate them into Cyro. Random relics all over Cyro that could be carried, smaller cap points in various places providing various boni, roving caravans that influence the campaign, etc. etc.

There's just not enough going on there.

Eh? What exactly is this post about? I am confused...

Performance lag? (Hamster pc lag or trying to max out on hamster pc) I mean, I don't get any performance lag, 80% of the time I am at the 100 FPS cap consistently maxed out. But that is down to my setup.

Lag?(High ping) As for internet lag, well, that depends, sometimes it is great and sometimes it can be poor, but that is down to the household streaming and such. Or there could well be an issue with ESO, who knows, investigation is needed on my end first. As most of the time, some pc gamers don't understand they need to keep up, update, do house work on their PC's to keep them performing.

Massive faction fights? You mean new game play? There is possibility of massive faction fights, if all try to take the same keep lol..... 3 zergs all from all 3 factions zerging each other. That, sounds odd, can't put my finger on it though.

What people are going to stop finding this game? The minority that make it hard for anyone to understand what they are ranting about?
    Do you have numbers?

If you are going to rant, at least make it, you know, understandable.

Oh yes, i will do that right now.

    Not.

Anyway, yeah... the game works just fine for me. Very rarely have any problems at all. And as i said, my computer is a very average one... nothing to see with these massive gaming rigs... Im a poor man

Edit: Also, after checking your link... they are talking mostly about battle mechanics in terms of balance and so on... Yeah, they also say at the very end of the post that they also are trying to improve how battle works, and how the game performs to make it a better experience. But they are not saying that they are aware of any specific lag/ping/*** issues going on.

There we go, you edited your post and 2 words made it more understandable. :p
Still, what lag you talking about?
    High ping?
    Low frame rate?
    Both?

Also, what is your system specs?
What (if I may ask) is your net speed?
What type of connection is it? (Fiber/Cable/dialup :p ) Not asking for ISP here but it does help.
How many people connect to your modem?

These things help ZOS, so many people cry lag but don't give ZOS any data. Thus ZOS cannot do anything if they have nothing to work on.

There could very well be an issue but PC configurations differ quite greatly and one fix for one system config could very well cause issues for another.

I know when I play on Xbox NA with running the Xbox one S and my Google fiber Internet and nothing other than my Xbox connected to it as well I have ZERO lag in pvp and vet trials the only thing that happens is the buzzzzzzz crash but that's been going on for months after Xbox did an update on there system and the only time I crash on eso is when there servers are messed up other then that ZERO lag even last keep emp pushing with over 100+ people there. BUT when I'm out of town and running on *** Internet anything under 50mbps upload and download speed the game is 100 full of lag and crashing. Once I switched my Internet and unhooked all things to it other than my Xbox and started rinning 1G upload and 1G download speeds the games been great.

I don't know, I feel like it has been improving during the past year.

This past weekend I ended up in a pretty huge battle near Aleswell, had to have been more than 100 players of different factions, and I saw some guild group in the middle spamming heals and AOEs etc. Zero lag at all. I was impressed. Maybe it was just far enough away from the keep, or something has improved - no idea.

How anyone can doubt the lag and poor server performance is beyond me. I play Vivec on PC EU everyday and the lag is very real.

It is like a warning, it starts lagging and you know [snip] has alerted his Vivec WhatsApp group and is now sneaking with three full 24-man-raids on the hills west of bleakers to recapture the outpost in a heroic fight against the masses of pact defenders (5, including 1 afk).

Cyro is laggy as always(PC EU) for me only thing that changed for me is that the ping doesn't really show how much lag is.

For all who think cyro is lag free:
Did you play on a full campaign?
    On what server?
Do you have actual pvp exp and can notice when abilities/weapon swaps go off delayed?
Ice Furnace: This item set now grants Spell Damage, rather than Weapon Damage for the 4 piece bonus

Totally agree and screen loading when u die is F annoying taking ages.

people don't use group finder in PVP so there is no way to find groups there and and mostly EP can is in thousands in pvp which makes that lags I guess :))
I will always need for more classes in the game... Monk Kung Fu Khajit - with martial art staff and straw hat, Alchemist - throwing bombs and potions , Bard as support rather then healer, and Arificer and Arifact collector of alyed and dwemer ruins

Sweet, the guy with 24 posts and probably as many gameplay sessions is gonna solve the pvp lag problem.

Lol Just because I don't have many posts does not mean I don't play the game. If you think that x amount of posts mean someone plays the game all the time or are a font of knowledge you are actually completely wrong.

FYI I have one toon just over 160CP, another just reaching level 50 and another end 30's.
Also I work with dev teams all the time, so I don't see how what number posts I have is relevant to this situation.
I know what questions they most commonly ask as I have to all the time with different applications having performance issues.

INFORMATION is what ZOS needs but since everyone thinks it is not their PC maybe assisting the cause, they don't want to provide info that ZOS needs, so be it be stuck in a laggy game, I have zero issues, well that is a lie, every damn patch I get authentication issues installing the patch although the launcher is always launched with admin rights. But it does not make me think the game is fine though does it, just because one or 2 people have zero issues in-game it doesn't mean others don't.

It has been proven in another post which someone had lag and changing the brand of RAM(memory) made a difference, so it could be a hardware configuration the game struggles with. For example some processors from AMD, they suck at single core processing and this game struggles with multi threading from what I am been reading, so it stresses one or 2 cores, that generation of AMD can't keep up hence laggg... (cba to look for it, look for it yourself considering you know so much being that you have more posts than me trolol)

Maybe help the situation instead of trying to ruffle feathers.

Me personally im not claiming the game is well optimized, what im saying is that i very rarely have lag issues or high ping when im in Cyrodiil. Yeah, i play in Vivec Campaign PC/EU, i play during peak and during off-peak times. It performs the same no matter what time.
I can zerg and siege no problem. From time to time i can feel a bit of a lag spike, but i know is more related to addons. But thats pretty much it.
Im fairly sure my computer is not as powerful as yours, i cant really remember the specs... But it doesnt have 36gb ram, and its not able to move all other new games in ultra settings thats for sure xD

But ESO (which im glad because is the game i play most of the time)... no problems whatsoever.

    So yea...

Well thats what you get in forums these days, you try to help and people try to ridiculize and troll you.

    Hilarious, isn't it.
