It's too bad that teleporting to player only takes people to a wayshrine. In LOTRO I like to prank party members by summoning them while I'm in a really weird place like on top of a streetlamp, and then move so they appear there all by themselves.4 -

No. I know where I logged out and I know where I'll be when I continue....to surprise you when you next log in?
Though I would sometimes quit the game without waiting the 10 seconds before going to sleep, and check if I died or not next thing in the morning. But I stopped doing this because my armor gets needlesly broken.0 -

✭NoAt least, not on purpose. Sometimes my memory lets me down and I forget what it was I intended to do next time I loaded the character. I'm blaming it on my age. Or perhaps it's because I play late at night at the moment. I think.

Melilotta✭✭✭YesSometimes, but not to surprise myself, I just like to log out on a beautiful view or something. And I try to find a safe place, hate to log back in and get killed instantly (it happened a few times). And sometimes it just happens that I can't remember at first, why I'm there.1 -

I did get an unintentional surprise once, though. I logged off standing just outside a delve entrance, and the next time I logged in, I was standing on a boat in the water, a short way away from the delve.

Well, it's starting to dawn on me that most people don't have 14 characters. Even as much as I play I don't use all of them all of the time for actual content, they're more likely just getting logged on for Hirelings and Shadowy Supplier and the new Wardens to visit the stablemaster and do guild dailies. Or when I'm only pvping or pveing I rarely switch between them, or I'm playing on one alliance/campaign or another and so really will log on with some alt and think, "You ***, why did you log off in the Whitestrake's crafting station in Greenshade? No one would ever go there on purpose."
Or I'll log off an alt in that giant nest hanging off the cliff in Wrothgar Or in the secret room halfway down the waterfall by that public dungeon.1 -

Yeah, I can appreciate your "logic" if you have 14 characters. I do also believe it's nuts to prank yourself!
