No children = end of world/tamriel!?

No children = no future, are the people immortal or are they born as adults (try explaining that xD)?

We know a future exists and children exists in the future but not in current time of ESO, I wonder what happened.

It's like that movie where adults can no longer have kids, something must change though, or maybe it's something to do with the mad god.

Children in videogames are problematic in some countries, they are also completely useless.

Seemingly mostly because videogames are not film/tv.

Agree kids had been cool and added to the nice atmosphere in game.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

a shame you can't steal candies from babies is it? I'm glad we don't have cocky brats running around like im skyrim. I hated braith. Child abuse in games might be a problem with dark brotherhood and kids like that around :/

I still think the NPCs of Tamriel heard Player Characters were coming (gasp!) and hid all their kids in secret cellars...
    :p;)

On a more serious note, yeah, it would have added nicely to immersion if "safezone"cities had random NPC children running around, or if the few "rescue the kid" quests actually had children to rescoe so it'd fit the narrative instead of wondering why a grown man cannot walk two dozend steps to a rope bridge... I mean, the "my mom still treats me like a kid" excuse works that one time in Koglin village, but... definitely not the other times an "adult appereance" NPC plays a role obviously written for a child...

That's true but children existed in skyrim, which believes me to think either devs cba to put them in or there really is something fishy happening.

Children? Currently living with Clavicus Vile. You see some dumb broad decided to make a deal with him when the soulburst occured and war broke out. "Please! Protect the children!" She pleaded. Clavicus agreed. "They will be perfectly safe.....in my realm." And now they exist as slaves. Their existences wiped from peoples minds like the grey fox. When they grow to the point they are no longer "children" they pop back onto nirn and no one recognizes that they disappeared in the first place.

Oh you want the actual reason and not my head canon? Something about child brutality and/or being unrealistic if you cant harm them. Also i think new character models and increased lag were mentioned once or something. I dont really know :/

Aren't you forgetting something? There's a reason this world is full of magick.

No need to spent stamina on your reproductive skills, just utter a few magick words and voila, you have a fully grow child, ready for hard labor, cannon-fodder or other forms of entertainment!

Well, it all began when there was a terrible infestation of rats throughout Tamriel. They ate the grains, invaded food stores and even destroyed fine linens and sorcerer armors.

The problem as so severe, the populace was on the verge of an uprising, when the kings and queen proclaimed notices were to be posted in every dominion, covenant and pact, offering a handsome reward for anyone that could remedy their problem.

So, appeared a traveler in very colorful Jester garb and proclaimed he could rid the entire world of any pest.

A veritable fortune in both gold and crowns was being offered and soon an agreement was struck. From out of his natty rucksack, the Jester produced a golden flute resplendent with polished jewels, he proclaimed could produce magical notes.

Across Tamriel he set forth and in every city, hamlet, village and other habitats, he began his playing which created long lines of rats who followed mesmerized by his tune.

In short time he had eradicated all the rats and returned to each capital for his promised reward. But, seeing as the rats no longer plagued them, the rulers reneged on their agreement to fully pay the Jester, who then swore they would fully pay, in one form or another.

So, at midnight he silently crept into every city, hamlet, village and other habitats he had rid of the rats all across Tamriel, but played a subtle, sweet and soft melody that aroused only children.

He then led them all away.

But the most horrifying action he did was to then play another magical melody which changed all the children into skeevers.

That is why today we see so many empty cradles. The people of Tamriel keep trying to have children, but any success is met with a newborn baby skeever, explaining why the skeever population is so widespread and large.

Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique

zenimax really screwed up the immersion of their game by not having children. every character is born 20 years old or some ***?
what about babette in skyrim? shes an immortal vampire that looks like a child, but has the age and mind of someone 300 years old.
is she the first child to be born in tamriel that doesn't look older than 20? is that when zenimax will add children? when the coming of babette happens??

its definitely one of zenimax's biggest mistakes since this game launched. (and the silliest, imo)

    it amuses me.

We are actually in The Shivering Isles, Sheo is just being clever and making a big joke Tamriel to make us act self-important in. Lol, you really think Molag Bal is that easy to two-shot? Clearly Sheo doesn't think much of him.
