It's easy, you are not a noob and you are max cp, of course you've grinded long enough to be rich enough.
Noobs are new, they don't have the wealth yet, simple as that.
If you use the loot spy addon you should offer gold for the gear as its seen as a bit rude, the other guy might want it for future use too but might pass it on for some gold.Often people who use the add on to look at other players' loot get an attitude that because they can see the loot they are somehow entitled to it.
If I don't want something, I'll link it. If you use that add on and ask me for my loot, I'll not give it to you whether I need it or not. I find it rude and obnoxious.
Tiny bit petty. Also prevents you from asking for sth that others may not know you need.
That said, I always ask at the beginning for what I need and what anyone else wants.

I dont get really why would anybody care about giving someone a piece of set for free anyway, its not like you could sell it for hundreds of gold, what does that make any difference if you give it or sell it at merchant? none.
I know, right? 2,000 is nothing. Maybe he was trying to save up gold for something else, and didn't have much. It sounds like the OP just wants to shame someone for not giving away everything for free.2k is hardly greedy, and newer players need a way to male income. Unless you declare you giving away gear at the start for free or not, or that you need Gold or not then. No harm

You 'should' give any item away for free that you don't need and I definitely do, but I'm just saying in the event of an ultra rare drop (BSW sharp inferno, Netch sharp lightning, or whatever this patch equivalent is), if someone asking someone to cough up gold for it, I would see where they're coming from.
Would I do that? no don't need the gold and I'm way to giving, have even given away my Mazzatun motif before for basically nothing.

Motifs are different imo. They have an open world value and can be put into guild vendors. You basically have a choice if to sell it in group for a profit or put it out there for everyone. With gear and as you yourself will obviously know, it's either a pittance or doing the right thing and giving it to someone who will use it. It's not as if the person you're giving that gear to can screw you over by listing it for a hefty profit in a guild store. Now, if gear was BoE, I'd expect people to pay a premium for that BSW sharp inferno staff because I could sell it for a hefty profit in any guild and it would also mean i wasn't just giving it to some random so s/he can sell it on for a hefty profit.
I give everything what people ask (if im not farming) . But I refuse to give if someone spy on my loot (that addon). That is very intrusive.

Actually, he is not the only greedy noob I've met. And I found 99% greed guys are noobs. That's why I don't like noobs, I don't want to help noobs, I want to kick every noob from dungeon.

I find it obnoxious too. You don't know what I'm farming for, I could be using my healer to farm for my tank. If it's something I can live without I will link it. If it's something I wanted, I'm going to be quiet about it. Spying on people is a terrible thing to do in my opinion. Especially because the loot spies I've met made it clear that they will throw a tantrum if you don't give them the item. "You don't even need it your not dk/dps/tank/sorc or whatever they think matches that drop." I have more than one character who does need it.

Your crappy attitude is a major reason for why I haven't bothered to reach out to anyone to do dungeons with. Haven't done a one

Well then you're really missing out. And you can use group finder to group with ransoms.
If you don't want to deal with the 'attitude' of other players, you can simply turn chat off.

Are you kidding me? All you have to do is read the very frequent comments on this forum about how terrible PUGs are. As for turning of chat in a dungeon. .. how do you expect that to turn out? Not trying to be an ass here, just realistic.

I wouldn't believe everything I read on this forum... most of the PUG's I've done have been a good experience...met some really nice people...although everybody sooner or later will get the tank who is bow light attack spamming once in a while, but not as common as some would lead you to believe on these forums...
