Is The Ravager Bow Drop Bugged ?

Hi @ZOS_GinaBruno , is the ravager box items drop bugged ? I am just asking because I spent in the last 2 weeks over 2 mil AP on ravager boxes and got all items and weapons with different traits but the bow didn't drop even once and even with a bad trait, like at all , so I was wondering if it's a bug or just RNG .

There is no ravager bow.
It was removed with smart loot because it only procs with meele damage.

However, Automaton Staves survived, BECAUSE LOGIC AND REASON HAVE NO POWER HERE!

But, yeah, I'm pretty sure Bohn's right, the Raveger Bow and Staves were removed from the game by the smart loot system. Strictly speaking you could proc it with some abilities like concealed weapon (I think), but I'm not even sure those would satisfy the internal conditions.

So I can't complete the 4 piece bonus, really ? I wasn't interested in the set proc but mainly in the 4 piece bonus

If you're not using jewelry, you could just use Ashen Grip. The four pc bonuses aren't in the same order, but they are the same boosts.

Ashen is +Health, +Weapon Damage, +Weapon Crit.

Ravager is +Weap Crit, +Health, +Weap Damage.

If it is jewelry, you might be better off with Dreugh King Slayer. That's +Weap Damage, +Weap Damage, +Crit with healthy jewelry. Bit of a pain to farm for, though.

Veiled Heritance subs the +Health for +Phys Resist. It's easier to farm, though.

ty for the suggestion , thing is I am using ravager for DW and needed bow for backbar to complete just the 4th pieces bonus tho i guess gonna have to swap set

or just use a random set wep

Relating to ravager why cant i get it to proc at all ot goes off lile once every 40 kills on enemies does rapid strikes not proc it?

It wouldn't surprise me if Rapid Strikes isn't flagged as a potential trigger.

Yeah, without knowing your build, giving advice on that front could be tricky. You might be able to swap your set around so that you get have 4 armor pieces of Ravager, one weapon Pc, and then complete your other 5pc with your second DW weapon and your bow.

As stated above, the bow does not drop.
They removed it with the implementation of the "smart loot" system. Since it procs on melee damage only, having a ranged weapon makes little sense.

Is light attack considered Melee Damage?

Melee means at close range (irl often a hand to hand brawl) - melee weapons are dual wield, sword and shield, and 2 hand swords/axe/maul. As opposed to ranged weapons, which is something that can be fired from a distance - staves and bows.

Both melee and ranged weapons have light and heavy attacks, it is about the range of the weapon whether it is melee, not how long you hold down the button.

Has something changed? There was a bow the other day that appeared on TTC for 250K... training trait but still... Obviously gone by the time I got to the GT... Unicorns don't last it seems..

Or was it one someone had been sitting on for several years I wonder..

Just use the master bow for backbar.
Dont even need to know if its pve or pvp, its BIS for both anyway. You are welcome.

With Scalebreaker patch, Ravager's fifth bonus was changed to:

(5 items) Each time you attempt to reduce the target's Physical or Spell Resistance, you gain a stack of Ravager for 5 seconds, increasing your Weapon Damage by 125. You can gain a stack every 1 second. At 4 stacks, the duration doubles but cannot be refreshed.

SInce it's no longer conditional on melee attacks, it is quite possible that the bow has been re-added to the loot table.

Depends on your class. But it works with Night Mother's Gaze. Haven't tested if the crusher enchantment procs it, but it should so.

I never bothered trying to get a bow after I learned it got taken out. Ran jewelry, legs and chest in Ravnger, Monster in medium, weapons and other small medium pieces in War Machine.
