Maintenance for the week of February 23:
· [IN PROGRESS] NA megaservers for maintenance – February 23, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
· [IN PROGRESS] EU megaservers for maintenance – February 23, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 17:00 UTC (12:00PM EST)
· [IN PROGRESS] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – February 23, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)

Is there going to be a reimbursement to make up for all the server down time this week?

TarhielsFlight
The NA megaservers have been down for 17-21 hours this week alone? Beyond the expected scheduled time and then out of nowhere. Lots of players only have a limited amount of time to play and taking the servers offline for 8-10hrs at a time for eso+ members should warrant some compensation. Tonight i was in the middle of a mages guild mission and was really enjoying myself, I wasnt able to harvest an ancestor silk i found so i reloaded the UI. Sat in a loading screen for about 10 minutes before i closed the game, tried to log in for another 10 minutes before i started looking up server issues and voila i wasnt alone, that was about 8:45pm EDT and it is now 1:53am EDT 5 hours later and i still cannot get online with no end in sight.

It would be a nice gesture considering there has been so much negativity going on, accounts getting compromised, serious bugs, huge amounts of down time

I understand the TOS, Doesnt mean that they shouldnt do something to make up for how weve been treated. Were paying customers that cant use the service we pay for. We arent in beta anymore, most people are just used to getting crappy customer service i guess.

Agreed. It's not a big deal, but a good will gesture seems appropriate. I understand ZOS isn't running a charity, but my monthly sub isn't a charitable donation either.

Thats where i am, I we enjoy the game so much that were willing to pay a little extra. I know its not required but with everything going on it would go a long way, and mean alot. Throw everyone like 400 crowns or something, Other services i use when their servers go down for longer than expected theyll throw me something like a free month or something. Feelsgoodman

400 crowns is far too much for the following reasons:
    1. it equates to far longer than the server has been offline, and most of that offline time was scheduled for patch. too bad!
    2. 400 crowns can be used to buy a dwarf crate, and people will start complaining that their compensation may be used for gambling purposes, and they'll start a new line of complaining.

They gave us the crates to try to get a small percentage of the player base craving the content, and therefore more eager to pay for the crates that they otherwise wouldn't have bought.

All I want is an hour added to my monthly sub for every hour that the game is taken off line for unscheduled breakdown and exploit fixes.

I didn't break the servers, ZOS needs more robust software.

I didn't exploit or cause issues, ZOS needs to make exploits harder to implement in their code.

I paid for a month, I want a month., not a month minus 14 hours (for example) and I'm willing to ignore weekly maintenance, because that's part of the deal going in.

ESO+ does not buy gameplay time. It is for the Plus bonuses. ESO is a B2P game, so if you bought the game, you are playing free, indefinitely.

Being from my timezone hurts even more . As it is our prime time of gaming. I couldn't play much of ESO (almost none) in the last few days just after I purchased ESO plus for the first time .
Am not easily disappointed but I am now.
But I do get the fact that Zeni is working hard to fix the issue. I don't think I am entitle to a compensation but I do think some kind of compensation would be nice for us and for the goodwill of them.

    Actually, ESO+ reducer research timers.

Which works even when the game is offline.

So in fact, you have been getting use from your ESO+ subscription all this time. So there is no compensation as you haven't missed out on anything.

Aside from everything everyone says to every person that posts one of these stupid threads, ZoS has stated there will be no compensation.

You want something to complain about? Try playing skyforge. They just had an event where the final reward was a trinket with a x42 multiplier for all damage on it. People spent money for 9 days, buying in game currency with real money in order to eliminate the CD on the event. 9 days after the event started, the devs nerfed the trinket to x1.25.

    Ok, go.
