IMO, that should be "sum" as in everyone trying to log into the server

    Is it the notorious DDoS attack or just all the people that are playing bringing down the server?

    To be fair, it isn't just logging in that was the problem. It's also logging out!

    (And changing zone. And mailing. And anything which involves a database connection, like the in-game bank...)
