✭what makes it even stranger is that your ice staff is nirn, and you are comparing it to a charged lightning staff - your damage should actually be higher.
this post should really be in bug reports.
i suggest chaging the thread title to include the word but, hopefully someone will come along that can offer you more than confusion!

i think they are thinking of ancient knowledge which increases your actual damage done - but not your 'stats'1 -

The pics show 1132 for the lightning staff and 1290 for ice staff. That's exactly 14% more.0 -
Capsaica✭✭✭This may seem like a silly question, and forgive me for asking it, but did you swap to your ice staff when you were looking at your stats? In the image, it looks like you have the ice staff highlighted to view the stats on your second weapon, but your first weapon is active. For the lightning staff, it looks like you are highlighting the weapon in your 1st weapon slot, and that weapon is currently active.0 -

✭updated post, was watching wrong on char sheet thought I had the lightning staff on when I had higher spell dmg but had the ice staff which is nirnhoned so was not the other way around, glad I figured that out. but the tooltip is still the same no matter and the phys/spell res is higher with ice staff aswell and it is not mentioned anywhere.Edited by Yakidafi on August 17, 2017 7:18PMMoons and sands shall be your guide and path.

The increase in resistance is from the "Bulwark" CP passive that was introduced with HotR. Details in the patch notes.1 -
