Nirnhoned Broken?

So with Julianos & sharpened my spell damage is 2342, if i replace my juli sharp stave with a nirnhoned gold it says it increases by 348, but my spell damage is only at 2542 which is only an increase of 200.

If I remove 1 piece julianos gear i'm at 2243 spell damage, which is exactly 299 less (the julianos tooltip for the gold 5 piece)

So if the Juli tooltip is exact, the nirnhoned tooltip should be exact too right?

Is this a known bug?

Unarmed tooltip? Is sharpened gold? Julianos piece gold? Gold raises stats on sets.

Need more info really... generic armor (no sets) & test with generic nirnhorned weapon. You're juggling around set pieces which could be at fault.

Try it yourself if you don't believe. I'm swapping 1 gold sharpened julianos staff for 1 gold nirnhoned julianos staff, kinda hard to mess that up...

Does sharpened increase spell damage? I can't find info on that since it's for pen. What kind of enchantments? There's still a lot of info you're leaving out. What's BASE damage (unarmed?) and compare that to sharpened & nirn. The nirn tooltip says 348 but the 200 result is comparing nirn to sharp. See where I'm going with this?

Scientific testing! Did you also gets stats for both sharp & nirn WHEN you pulled off that other piece of Julianos off? Why take off that piece anyway? Also you never answered what the stats were when UNARMED.

Add 15% to the base of any non infused weapon.

The 348 is an enchant, thats were your messing up. Your staff weapon is at 1335 sharpend, nirn 1535 added 15% to = 200.

For testing traits get naked take all cp out of tree and have an odd mudus. Please dont jump to random conclusions on the forums without further testing.

The OP was asking a question, how does that, on any level of your thinking compare to a "conclusion".

A simple answer with out the arrogant staple comment would have worked. But I get it. You are "console" as though that is something to add to the authenticity of this post.

Just to clarify what the actual problem was...
I had a previously created nirnhoned gold staff. When I was looking at it, the tooltip had the "old" value/picture/statement of "add 349 damage".
Even though I was already running the new patch!
It didn't change the image/wording until after I posted this, closed out my client, & re-launched the game. Now it says the proper "15%".

However, I noticed that 15% is typically less than what it was previously giving; which means they pulled the wool over our eyes...
(By less I mean if you run julianos + sustain set, now maybe if you have clever alchemist proc'd it might be more but don't remember if it scales off max sp dmg or max mag)

TLDR;
I didn't mess up anything; temporary tooltip bug

You are completely confusing what does what

Nirn was 11%. It never said "adds X damage" that is enchantment not trait.
You can have both TRAIT nirn (add 15%) and ENCHANTMENT for spell/weapon damage (add X damage, 348 or smth as you said)

I switch from sharp 2h to nirn 2h and I gain 310 wep dmg. From 2873 to 3183. Fyi.

+With only major brutality buff up.

Common gold staff does 1335 weapon- and spelldamage. Nirnhoned with 15% more give 1535 weapon- and spelldamage.

So i wonder why you say, that i should increase for around 348 spelldmaage?

Im a bit lost...your staff gives you 1335 spell damage...nirn gives you 15% to your weapon's damage...1.15 x 1335 - 1335 = 200....
