I noticed something since update.

on my backbar i have 500 less spell power, i would lay down wall of elements and it would tick around 4k say, then when i switched to front bar it would tick for around 5k. since update there is no diff now.

Maybe they changed something so that the spell is always as strong as the moment you cast it? It won't be buffed after it was cast?
I don't know if it's good or bad but it would make sense.
If you could use a white non trait staff on back bar, and switch to a yellow staff on front bar and your spell would be strong as a yellow sharpended staff that wouldn't make any sense.0 -
capper123✭✭what im saying wall of elements used the front bar spell power after switching from backbar, now it uses the spell power of the bar it was cast from. wich is not the way it ever worked.0

✭✭✭✭✭That is my understanding of the patch notes. Effects use the spell power of the bar from which cast - even after you switch to other bar.PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo1 -

✭✭✭This is how I remember it having always worked. Things like crit and penetration being retroactive to cast abilities, and things like damage and max stats being locked until the next cast.0 -
theamazingx✭✭✭✭That's very interesting. Most skills worked that way for a long time, keeping the stats of where it was casted, but WoE was one of the exceptions. Can't complain about consistancy, I suppose.0
