I've been noticing drastic fps drops while doing vma. I've never had any issues with FPS in this game (or any other game that I play like Overwatch) but my fps has been dropping from 60 to about 10-15 while in vMA. It usually occurs at around stage 7. Overwatch runs perfectly fine on my pc for hours on end.
I usually have FPS drops at the beginnig of stage 3 and in stage 9. This goes hand in hand with my ping jumping up to 999+.
Seems to be somehow depending on daytime.
If your PC was performing just fine, and after a patch where they touched some of the graphics settings you start having some FPS drops... i would say they *** something... What? no idea.

I was beginning to worry that it was my PC, but the fact that reducing the graphics setting from ultra to low has no effect on fps makes me think otherwise.
It's not. The same thing happens on consoles and is related to in game daytime. I also get lots of 2-4 seconds lag spikes where everything freezes and I can't use abilities, then everything speeds up which usually ends in my death. Very frustrating.
Same issue here. I get used to weak performance I usually play with it but after update I was forced to leave vMA before finishing it to protect my computer from beeing throw through the window. Performance in vMA is horrible now.
